What rides open later than 9 am?

I have heard not all rides open at 9 am?

Which ones at Universal and IOA open later and what times do they open?

Jaws sometimes doesn't open until 10:00.

During the non busy months at IOA, only Marvel and Suess landing are open from 9am - 10am. They have a rope with someone standing there. At 10am, the rest of the park opens.

Popeye usually opens at 10 or 11am, which is fine. Who would want to get soaked at 9am?

i have a similar question - is May a non-busy month? we're planning on IOA on thurs. 5/19 or friday 5/20. B/c i heard of long lines at P. Flyers, I was hoping to get on it w/ our 3 y.o. at 9 a.m.? When we walk in, will an employee be able to tell us if some areas are still roped off so we don't have to walk through Marvel Island & waste time? (We're doing a kid only a.m. - we'll try FOTL/baby swap w/ Spiderman later in the day). We weren't going to walk through Seuss Landing to get to PF since we know we'll get stuck there forever. But if PF doesn't open til 10, then we will do Seuss first. Any info on this??

I've used this strategy several times and never experienced a closure. A few years ago they used to stop us at the end of the bridge under the Hulk and we walked to Suess Landing and it was roped as well. So no rides were open until all rides opened. I'm guessing that May is busy enough to require the whole park to open at once. You can ask at the turnstile but as a rule they don't have accurate closure info provided to them.
