Park by park, which rides are the most important to get fastpasses?

It really depends on when you go but these are the ones that work best for us.

MK - All the "Mountains". Most times you can get a FP, wait in line to ride and then by the time you're done, your FP is ready!

AK - Everest, Everest and then Everest. Possibly the Safaris if you don't go first thing in the morning (which I reccommend).

HS - R-N-R Coaster, Tower, Little Mermaid (if you have small children)

EP - Test track, Mission Space (if you're up to it), Soarin'

Again, it depends when you go but we find that using your FP correctly is an absolute must if you plan to ride all the good rides. If you're waiting in line for more than 30 minutes (except in peak times) you are NOT using the system correctly.

Good Luck!:thumbsup2

I agree with all of these, but must suggest at HS that you also get the FASTPASS for Toy Story Mania. We have never needed a FP at the Voyage of the Little Mermaid, they fit so many people in there for a show, and it runs nearly every 20 minutes. We tend to go during slower times of the year, so maybe in a really busy time you would need the FastPass.

Definately the Safari, unless as mentioned above you got 1st thing in the AM

Have fun!

Definately Soarin in Epcot. We lived in Florida for almost three years and had annual passes and I only got on Soarin ONCE! Of course we weren't there when the park opened early in the morning either but the fastpasses were all gone whenever we tried to get them. Make this a first thing to go to or at least get the fastpass early.

Just got back 2 days ago & Pretty much exactly what was said above.

We couldn't even get into Toy Story Mania, it was a 120 minute wait (yes 2 hours) and no FP left to distribute!

We saw Soarin, Splash, Thunder Mtn, Test Track, & Tower (didn't go to Rockin) over 100 minutes at one time or another.

And they always took them as long as your time had past - they didn't care if you were w/in your 1 hour slot, as long as it had past. They were however very strick, if you time was 3 minutes away - they wouldn't let you pass yet.

MK: BTMRR, Peter Pan, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain

AK: EE, Dinosaur, KS

Epcot: TT, Soarin'

DHS: TSM, ToT, RnRC

Agree that it does depend upon the time of year you go. There are certain attractions that will have a long line earlier in the day and then be a walk-on later (HM & IASW at MK are examples).

Alot also depends upon your priorities.

Peter Pan is a slow-loading ride and always has a line ... this would be one to get a FP for if it is a must-do. Same with Dumbo if they have FP...don't know if they do on this ride.

Space Mountain another one. We also try for FP for BTM only because it gets quite hot in the holding area; however, the FP's are usually for a closer time than some of the "bigger" rides.

Jungle Cruise is a sometimes one ... if the day is hot and there is a line, it can be pretty slow w/o a FP.

Splash Mountain has a long wait during a hot day, but will then be a walk-on after dark or when it gets cooler.

At Epcot ... Soarin. Mission Space is usually pretty quick and Fast Track has the single rider line which you can go on if you don't mind being split from your party.

AK ... EE unless you want to use single rider line. Definitely use FP for the Safari unless you are in the first groupings.

Studios ... TSM is a must. Usually a FP is needed for RRC. ToT ... depends; most recent visits it wasn't really necessary - just have to assess the crowds that day.

My personal opinon on HS is you have to get a FP for Toy Story Mania first thing.. Or if you get there in the morning.. Get a fast pass for RnR and then go ride Toy Story Mania.. The line should be short enough then.. My experience with TSM is the lines are at least 90 minutes everytime.. We didnt even get to go on it on our last visit..

I didn't mention TSM because, unless you go at off peak times, getting a FP for TMS is a crap shoot! We've gone and been at HS within an hour after opening and all FP were gone. Crazy! :confused3

We have our favorites that we always get FP and don't wait in line

MK- Winnie the Pooh, Space Mountain when its open, Peter Pan

Epcot- Soarin, Test Track, Mission Space

DHS- Toy Story Mania, they run out very quickly and the line to get FP can get really long

AK- EE and Safari, I hate to wait in that line because it seems so much hotter at AK

DH likes to get a FP for Dinosaur also

MK - BTMRR (2X min), Splash Mtn (2X min), Space Mtn

EPCOT - Soarin, Test track, mission space

DHS - ToT(2X min), RnR (2X min), Star Tours

AK - Kilimanjaro Safari, Kali River Rapids, Expedition Everest (2X min), Dinosaur

MK peterpan and winnie pooh in FL
MK splashmountain and BTM for older kids

AK Everest
DS TOY STORY it was crazy!!!

EP soaring and test track..
PS if you want a photo of just your family get on test track first thing. We were a family of five and had the car to ourselves in the am. in the eve we had a single rider with us from the now open sigle rider line.
