What rides do you chicken out of?

If Summit Plummet is considered a ride, then that's the one I chickened out on. I waited in line, but when it came my turn to come down, I took one look down that shute, turned around and walked back down the stairs! There are certain rides I won't go on...spinning rides and simulators make me sick, but I do all the "biggie" rides in the parks.

Your missing out on all the good rides. Not to brag but i've never chikened out on any ride. Actually Splash Mountain and TOT are my favorite rides!

I always chicken out of ToT. I will propably NEVER go on it. But if you put the drop in water I'll brave it.
And I just have to add to all you who can't brave Splash Mnt. on our recent trip we took my 80 yo Grandmother and to our suprise she agreed to go on it! From the wonderful picture taken as we went into the Briar Patch I knew she didn't expect it! The look on her face was sheer TERROR. But she was glad she did it! (Am I'm glad I spent the $16 on the picture!!!!!!!LOL!!)

So far, I have not been able to make myself go Alien Encounter. I agree with Jetmom - just reading about it gives me the creeps.

I recently chickened out on Test Track. I was in line then I asked my friend to get in the singles line & ride, & then come back to tell me how it was. When he came out, he said that I probably wouldn't like it.
I also will not ride RNRC, TOT, tea cups, those spinning rockets, & primevel whirl. I rode Space Mountain once & that was enough for me. I thought I would die. I can barely ride Splash Mountain & Dinosaur. I used to ride BTMR, but not anymore since I had a frightening experience when I rode in the last car. Since then, I was told to never ride in the last car of a roller coaster if you are not a roller coaster type of person.
I love Alien Encounter!

DUMBO !
One look at that line and I run the other way!

I'll try most everything - except the simulation rides. Tried Body Wars once and felt bad for the rest of the evening. :(

;) I chicken out of "It's A Small World" because I don't want that darn song haunting me all day!

I am not a ride chicken. I ride everything, but I have to say that Honey I shrunk the audience and Bugs life totally freak me out! Our first time at WDW, we did Epcot first, so Honey I shrunk the audience was the one 3D I experienced first. I was prepared for the snake, but I never saw the mice, running around, coming. That made me nuts! As far as Bugs life, I knew that was going to be freaky with all the bugs. After the mice at Honey I shrunk the audience, I thought I was being smart and put my feet up. Little did I know the bugs were going to crawl under my BUTT! EWWWW!

Have been on and will never try again: TOT
I will never,ever try ....RNR
I haven't tried ,but, maybe will one day....Test Track
Have tried before and have chickened out lately...Space Mountain

Everything else I have tried and will go on again.
For some reason:
AE didn't really scared me???
I really enjoy the Tea Cups.

I know,I'm weird!!

I can't believe that I have never experienced:

Space Mountain
RnRC
Star Tours
Alien Encounter

However, you never know what might come over me on my next visit!

Maureen :bounce: Love those teacups!! Unfortunately, I can never find anyone that will go on with me anymore!

The only ride I have not been on is Astro Orbiter. I will make myself go on it in August when we are there. I have a terrible fear of heights and this one will be the biggest conquer of them all. Pray for me. hehehe

Although the Body wars and Star wars rides make me dizzy and I would prefer not to see them my DD loves them so I just ride with my eyes shut.

Here are the following rides that took a piece of me or had me a little taken aback

Star Tours - laughed all the way but a little nausea as well

Dinosaur - was very realistic I thought and I ducked at least a couple of times along the way

Space Mountain - I did not realize it was that dark - thought there would be some light

I would ride all these again but each of them left a strong impression on me

Thanks
Jason

I will try anything once, I love roller coasters. But, TOT is my least favorite ride. I have ridden it 3 times, but I have not been on it the past 2 trips. DD and DH go ride on it and then DD and I will go ride RnRC. I'm not a big fan of Splash Mountain either. But I did ride it last year when we were there. No line so really no excuse not to.

I positively refuse to go on RnRC (big chicken!!) and would prefer not to ever have to try AE and ToT. However, I do LOVE BTMRR and after much nervous anticipation every time I ride, Splash Mountain. That big drop just looms in the back of my mind! Scary, but fun. But as for Star Tours, that's one of my family's favorites! We laugh at my DD (8) who did fine on Space Mountain, but gets queasy every time we ride Star Tours!

I only have been on TOT a couple of times, when I was practically pushed on, and I'm glad that I tried it. But I always avoid it now. I always have an excuse, like getting some of that frozen coffee that they sell in back of the tower.

ha ha years ago... (like im really that old) i used to get scared of the Great Movie ride. The alien scene always got me a little spooked.

I also got scared about going on tower of terror. Once i finally got onto it however i thought it was the best thing around!

:)

I don't knw if this really qualifies as "chickening out" but I pass on Kali River Rapids now. The first few times I rode, I got a little bit wet, the last time, I got soaked. It was a hot humid day and I was miserable for the rest of the day. Not to mention that me in a wet t-shirt would scare the living daylights out of anyone else!!
:teeth:
