I know the obvious like Dumbo, but what else? Pirates? Buzz? Soarin? Kilamanjaro?
Don't blast me, I just have not been with a baby in a long time, and once you're out of "baby mode" you just don't think along those lines.
There is an 8 year gap betwen #2 and #3. We haven't thought about baby rides, what works & dosen't since he was about 4 and able to go on everything (he's fearless) that his height didn't keep him off of.

Some, like Soarin', will have height restrictions, the official walt disney world web site has all of the height restrictions. Others, I think might depend on your child- my 14 month hates being held and will squirm, but I think will love rides like small world, peter pan and winnie the pooh. I am in a similar situation- I have a 5 year old (first trip she was two) and a 14 month old, which is an age I have never had to deal with at Disney!!! Planning on a lot of parent guardian switches since dd5 loves thrill rides, as well as lots of separte time for the baby to go on "younger rides".

Have a great vacation!

carosel (sitting with me on the bench seats)
Carosel of progress
People mover
Any of the boat rides in EPCOT

You can check out ride height restrictions on Disney's website, or possibly this site too. Once you've done that, you can consider what attractions the 18 MO is mature enough for. However, with height restrictions small enough for an 18 MO, there's nothing your child can't do within that range.

But here's a for instance: if the 18 MO is tall enough for the Dinosaur ride (my 2 YO was tall enough for it), he/she might be big enough for it, but it's a VERY intense ride. I regretted taking my otherwise big enough 2 YO on it. She wasn't mentally ready for it. But my 2 YO was really tall for her age, so take what I say with a grain of salt.

Most of the CM's will let you know if it's maybe an overly intense ride for your child, even if your child is physically big enough for it. Just ask them.

Have fun!

We took our 12 month old and 24 month old, along with big sister (6 years) in July. We all went on Pirates. The babies were spooked by it (and I felt guilty for doing it to them afterwards). :worried: They all like the ride at Mexico at Epcot. Of course they love all the Fantasy Land rides.

I brought my DD on just about any ride that didn't have a height restriction. Some of the shows can be loud and scary and I was nervous on Dumbo with the practically open door.

if there was no height restriction our son went on it. His first trip was at 6 months and he always rode any ride he was allowed to get on. Tomorrow we leave and he is now tall enough for Space Mountain.

You know your child's fear level better than anyone else and use your judgement to your advantage. Our son grew up in amusement pasrks from the age of 3 weeks old, so I guess he just thought it was a normal life to live.

He thinks everyone goes to WDW a few timea year.

My best advice on kids at WDW of any age, is let them have their chance to make decisions and choose what to do and let them set the pace at times. It is amazing what MAGIC they find that we as adults just walk by.

We did a lot. I was really surprised at how many different attractions my grandson could go on!

We did:
Mickey's Philharmagic
Pirates
Aladin carpets
Haunted Mansion
Snow White
Pooh
Buzz (he loved Buzz)
COP
Wedway People Mover (I know it's called something else, but it will always be the People Mover to me..)

If we had the time, he would have gone to the Country Bears, Hall of Presidents, Dumbo, Peter Pan, Tiki Birds...

MGM
Please don't miss Playhouse Disney. It was his favorite. He clapped and danced with the music. He was just so happy!
The Little Mermaid.
Muppets.
The Great Movie Ride

He could have done B&B, Indiana Jones.

We didn't stay in AK long enough to do much more than the safari and the parade. ( he loved all the parades!)

Epcot
He loved Spacehip Earth
Figment

He could have done The Land, the Living Seas, Energy, Mexico and Norway.

There is a play area for non-riders in the exit area of Mission Space. Cool place for kids. He also liked looking at the cars and stuff at the exit of TT while we did baby swap.

Enjoy!! :cool1:
