What rides can the "plump" people not ride?

We are going to Universal and IOA in April and I was wondering which rides can the plump (fat) people not ride. I am a size 24/26 and don't want to embrass myself trying to ride a ride that I cannot fit into.

I am not sure what size 24/26 is in womens clothing.

From my experience Some of the rides, believe the roller coasters actually have a chair for you to try out to see how you fit before you get in line.

I am 6'5 and about 270. Some of my problems were leg room. I would not recommend the Mummy. That was a tight squeeze for me. I could not wait to get off. ALso Dr. Dooms free fall was really tight. Those are just the ones off the top of my head I can think of. MIB might be a little tight as well.

If its not too busy they might be able to get you two seats on MIB and the MUMMY.

Hope that helps.

I don't think you have to worry about it. DH is a real big guy 6'2" and almost 300 pounds and he can ride everything. His problem is getting things over his shoulders. They put him in the "big boy" seats on The Hulk and DD, no problem. I can't think of a ride he wasn't on including the Mummy (several times). He said a few rides were abit tight (less tighter than Disney rides if that helps) but it sure didn't stop him from riding, lol.

I'm in the same boat as the above, try for back row in MIB though since front row was crowded for me but not too bad. Oh .. not Popeye but the other water ride .. in the piece of wood thing .. forgot what it's called .. my legs didn't fit at all .. I had to force the others in my group to deal with it cus I wanted to ride it .. oh yeah, Dudley Do Right .. lol

I don't know if you're interested in riding the big roller coasters, Dueling Dragons and Incredible Hulk but as was already mentioned there are test seats out in front of the ride that you can check out to see if it's a comfortable fit for you. The coasters have the seats for those with larger upper body dimensions in rows 3 and 6. At Hulk, just ask an attendant to put you in one of those rows. At Dueling Dragons, there is no attendant that directs you to a row. Just position yourself in the 3rd or 6th row. You'll see the larger seat has two seat belts to fasten, not just one as the standard seats do.

Have fun!

I went to Universal last September. I was 6' 4" and 360lbs. I was not able to ride Dr. Doom, Dueling Dragons, or Hulk. Mummy though was no problem. I think a lot of it depends on how you are "plump" do you have big thighs, or do you have a pot belly, etc. Different rides fit different type of peoples. My recommendation would be to give it a try. Use the test seats. Unfortunately they are out in the open and people frequently use them as seats.

Even in the bigger seats?? I'm surprised, we seen some real big people riding the Hulk (as in bigger than 360). I wouldn't bother trying out the test seats for Hulk or Dragons, you still are not going to know if you fit unless you try the "big boy" seats. The ones outside are the "normal" sized seats, DH doesn't fit in those, he can't close the seatbelt with his shoulders but can in the bigboy seats.

I didn't try the actual seats but tried the "Big Boy" test seats out front. They had 2 test seats out front 1 regular and 1 "big boy". Part of the problem was most of my height is in my upper body. That combined with my former large size caused the problem. I am now 75lbs lighter though so I souldn't be a problem when I go in December.

ahhhhh OK, I never noticed the bigger seats upfront. Congrats on the weight loss :)
