What rides can I do with my 10 month old?

She sits very nicely on my lap but with the lap bars on many of the slower rides I am not sure she can go on anything? Any suggestions?

Your DD can ride everything at all the parks except the rides with height restrictions!! I took my DS when he was 3 months old, and he rode everything we did! He did great! Im sure your DD will love riding. I never had a problem with any of the bars on the rides. DS went at 3 months and again at 12. You will have a great time with her!!

I never found the lap bars to be much of a problem, first took our daughter when she was 9 months old, but it is hard to remember as she is now 22 years old. I do know we were worried about her being scared by the skeletons at the beginning of PiratesOC so in that part we told her "the rain is coming, cover your head with your blankie" she did, and as soon as we went down the hill, she was fine, and loved it! Didn't do HM or Snow White, but I think, if I remember correctly, that she sat between my husband and I on Peter Pan. She was able to do lots! We used a back carrier instead of a stroller - so much quicker and easier thank parking a stroller, and she just loved bouncing up and down to all the music of the shows and parades in there. Good luck, have fun!!!

We took our little guy for the first time at 12 months old. He sat on our lap for everything and we had no problems. He rode everything except the big rides with height restrictions - and there are only a few of those in each park. Some of his favorites - Journey Into Your Imagination, Jungle Cruise, Pooh, Safari, Dumbo, Magic Kingdom Railroad, Spaceship Earth . . .

And, don't forget the shows - He LOVED the Tiki Birds and the Country Bears. And, Festival of the Lion King, Illuminations, Fantasmic, and Wishes were highlights of the trip for him - especially Illuminations, which he was absolutely NUTS about.

By the way, he wasn't scared by any of the rides or shows or characters at all. It was a great trip! We're headed back in December for his 4th trip. He'll be a very experienced 2 1/2 by year old by then. :rotfl: :rotfl:

At that age, they won't be scared by skeletons because they don't know what skeletons are. Start with rides like Winnie the Pooh and see how she does with dark rides in general. Then take her on whatever you can! And have her interact with characters, if possible. I took my now 12 yo daughter when she was 9 mo old...I dressed her in a little Pooh outfit and the interactions were priceless!
For longer show-type attractions, you can nurse her if you still nurse. Otherwise, sit by the exit in case she gets fussy so as not to disturb others.
