what rides are so quick loading that you never get fast passes for

We never FP IASW. Pirates is a secondary FP. After we use our 1st three. It’s one of my favorites at WDW but I don’t feel it warrants a 1st three. We have never had any trouble getting on the ride multiple times a day.

I rode Pirates once standby, and never again. I'll always get a FP for it.

Attractions we don't get a FP for are: Carousel of Progress, Monster's Inc. Show, Mickey's Philharmagic, the carousel, Aladdin, Figment, Nemo, Living with the Land, Indiana Jones, Frozen show, Beauty and the Beast show.

I get a FP for whatever we definitely want to ride. So we are the people with a FP to Living with the Land on occasion. Makes it easier to get the rides we want done before a meltdown of one of the kids (4 and 2.5 - their patience in line isn't too long).

I don't really base my FP's off of this - I base them off of what will I be the most upset if I don't get to ride. Therefore we always get at least one during our trip for Pirates and HM.

I agree with this! Mother's Day is our first day of the trip in May-I've been granted my pick for all 3 FPs on this day-HM, PoTC, and Splash-my favorites!

Pirates has a really long line. It' all hidden. I would definitely FP that one!

Journey into imagination - never any wait...
Can’t say never.. while that’s true most weeks of the year, Christmas Week can have the Figment standby queue starting outside. (And my “throwaway”:rotfl2: 3rd Epcot FP+ actually got used )

We try to do Pirates early, typically no line. Then start fastpasses around 10:00.

Attractions we don't get a FP for are:
Carousel of Progress,
Monster's Inc. Show,
Mickey's Philharmagic,
the carousel,
Aladdin,
Figment,
Nemo,
Living with the Land,
Indiana Jones,
Frozen show,
Beauty and the Beast show.

Just to keep things straight-
Carousel of Progress,
the carousel,
-do not offer FP.

(And, there are two different "Nemo" attractions.)

Overall crowd level isn't always a good predictor of ride wait times. Disney knows when to expect lower crowds and often responds by not running some attractions at full capacity. Not sure if that's true on POTC, but on some attractions they don't run all the cars, or close one whole side of an attraction.
They were doing that at dumbo this week, only running 1 dumbo side.

No attraction at Disney hides their snaking, switchbacking, cattle chute standby line like Pirates does. I remember waiting in the standby line for the first time as a child and thinking "How many rooms and hallways ARE there??????? It never ends!'"

I would argue that the standby line for Peter Pan is even worse. We’ve only done standby once, but I was shocked about it.
