What ride would you "not" ride, even if they gave you a million dollars?

I have done my time on the Tower of Terror and the only way to get me back on that thing is to hand me the $1m in cash before I set foot on it. We had FIVE drops on the sequence I got on and by the fourth one that I had passed the brink of 'fun scary' and was descending into 'little girl teary-this-will-never-end-I want-Mommy' scary. I was 26 at the time, BTW.

If someone offered me $1 million, I'd go on any official ride or attraction at Walt Disney World. For that much money, I might even ride Top Speed Dragster. I'd consider it "taking one for the team/WDW trip of a lifetime seed money."

However, the attraction I'd most resent having to go to is the Hall of Presidents. It's not about any of the Presidents, themselves, it's about how incredibly boring it is. The one time I was there as an adult, I was ready to chew my arm off to escape that particular trap. I enjoy history, but good Lord, make it stop!

Well, I rode Mission Space during previews (Late July 2003) and I will never, ever ride it again. I do tend to get motion sickness easily, but I'd conquered ToT and RnR two days before so I guess I got too bold.

Why, oh why, didn't I listen to Gary Sinise when he said it was okay to bail at the last minute? Why Gary Why? :guilty:

As soon as we "took off" I felt like I would immediately vomit. It was seriously one of the worst feelings of my life. I managed to hold it in, wobble off the ride, and then sit at Pure n Simple snack bar with my head on the table for the next 1 1/2 hrs while my DH went and rode Body Wars. Yes, he of the stomach of steel. Seriously, it was about 3 hrs before I was recovered enough to do anything else. 5 hrs later when I rode the tame/lame Maelstrom I actually got a twinge of queasiness all over again. That, my friends, is centrifugal force! :rotfl:

As I said . . . never again!

p.s. We're going day after tomorrow . . . :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

ToT
I like roller coasters except for the darn drops. I can do motion simulators, DH may even convince me to do Mission Space, but ToT NEVER.

It isn't a ride, it is an attraction, but it would take a lot more than 1,000,000 bucks to get me to sit through another production of The Hall of Presidents....yawn!!!
me too! :teeth:

Although i must say that anything that holds you upside down like a pirate ship is a no no for me! :flower:

Mission Space & the Teacups...did 'em, won't do 'em again! :headache:

I love the Hall of President's & the American show with Mark Twain & Ben Franklin. :cheer2:

I'll never do Mission Space in reality due to motion sickness. For a million bucks though....Bring it on!

Myst

I'll ride anything... with or without the $1 million! Give me ToT, Mission:Space, RnR any day (any day that I'm not pregnant, that is!) and I'm there!

Dinosaur - scares me
It's A Small World - it's that song

I love this country and I appreciate it's history, that said I don't like the Hall of Presidents. I also DETEST "Small World" and avoid it if the kids will let me.

Mission Space... :earseek:

I get very bad motion sickness. I take Dramamine II while I'm at WDW just so I can ride the rides. But, even with the Dramamine, I am too afraid of being sick. No ride is worth being that sick for. :rotfl:
    I did Mission Space in Sept. Got very  Had to go to the First Aid station for one hour to rest. Then went back to resort for the day. Yes I did everything they said to do, even took Dramamine. Never again :sad2: :sad1:.

Summit Plummit. Strap me into any coaster, freefall, or other- but I will never throw myself down that...again! I know you are held in by gravity, but after that, you are there with NO restraints (any thrill ride has at least something to hold on), and Newton's friend is never to kind to me! Plus, when I went on it last, I had to even be pushed off. There is so much you have to do and remember, just to keep safe! There is also the height factor. For a million sweet, sweet apples, maybe, as long as none put me off be falling on my head

I was giving myself a little talk this morning and had just about convinced myself to quit being such a big baby and see for myself what MS is all about during my trip in April.

After reading this thread I think I'll hold out for the million bucks! That way I can afford my own medic on the scene. :rotfl2:

I agree with previous poster: the
wedgie water slide" at Typhoon Lagoon

I read somewhere that Mission:Space had exceeded some ride at Universal for the ride in Orlando that sends the most passengers to the hospital :earseek:

I would ride it for a million bucks, but there's no way I'd ride it without some exterior motives...

Teacups isn't that bad if you just close your eyes.

To be honest, some of the kiddie rides are way more torturous than the thrill rides. Like It's a Small World - the song drives me crazy. And the Hall of Presidents is quite a snoozer.

Another little thing that drives me batty is that you can't sit down in Canada and China for their movies. I always want to sit down SO bad in there but you can't. I'd rather sit in the waiting room where they have benches! :earboy2:

You can shoot me out of a cannon, but I won't ride Teacups!

I don't even have to ride them, I just look at them and get a little green...

I am going to join the mission space train....I hate the feelingof taking off in an airplane so I can only imagine the feeling in MS....

I get carsick on the monorail, so I have a whole list of rides i don't "do". but teh top of the list would have Mission:Space, and right under that would be the video games at Disney Quest :rotfl:

Yeah, so you won't see when I hurl on you :rotfl:

Ha, that's a good one!!

I did Misson Space on our trip in 2004. When we landed safety on Mars I was so afraid they were going to make us do it all over again to get back to Earth! Knew I wouldn't survive the return trip....
