What ride terrifies you?

mission space- i was literally numb after the ride. went on w/ my mother and 2 sisters, got so freaked out they had to help me exit the ride bc i couldn't move! lol

The ride I do not care to ride is the tea cups, but I do them for my Grandsons, that loves to make them spin. Can't wait until there tall enough to ride MS the Original.

I rode Tower of Terror when it just opened and the drop was the entire 13 floors of the tower... I survived..

...never again...

No doubt!! That's the ONLY ride that I won't try again. It is pretty terrifying, but it was also painful. You're humming down that thing so fast that the water rushing against the back of your body feels like millions of little daggers poking you. That's how it felt for me anyway!

They need to create a "smilie" for a power wedgie...:scared1:

I completely agree with this comment on Summit Plummit. I went on a similar ride in Spain (no where near the same height). Now I love heights and the feeling of falling, but I will never go on any of these rides ever again. I just don't understand the thrill of feeling you are being stung. How can pain make a ride fun? I agree the anticipation thing is there which makes rollercoasters etc great, but I feel safe on those type of rides, however, water drops I just can't see how anything can stop me from falling off the slide. I keep imagining my body falling forwards or something equally impossible.

Seems quite an extreme way of getting an enema to me, I seem to remember :rotfl: (sorry, nurses humour)

DINOSAUR! :scared1: I know dinos don't exist anymore, I know it is all fake and can't hurt me--but after seven different rides I still can't bear to open my eyes  I know it is an insane fear, but it scares me just the same!

I have no idea why, but my 4 year old grandson is terrified of the Winnie the Pooh ride and refuses to go on it. He loves Winnie the Pooh the character - we have lots of photos of them hugging! - and is pretty fearless about rides (likes Barnstormer, Teacups, etc.) but when we got to the front of the line for this one, he turned around and ran away screaming. Still says that he will never, ever go on the Winnie the Pooh ride.

Has he ridden it before at all? I know that my DD was terrified of the Heffalump dream scene when she rode the first time at age 2. She screamed the rest of the way through it. She even remembered it 2 years later and we had to convince her to get back on it.

No, he's never been on it at all. Maybe he had a "Heffalump premonition?" Maybe there is a secret underground preschoolers network where they warn each other about these scary things?

I would say in this order:

1. Mission Space (did it once and got sick, even if not looking to the sides at all)

2.Tower of Terror, only because I don't like free-falling (did it once and promised DH I'd go on it again this trip :earseek:

3. Expedition Everest, only for the anticipation on going on it for the first time and not knowing what to expect :rotfl:

Well I gotta join the crowd and say Tower of Terror. Its the anticipation thing. Waiting in line, taking all the time to go up the shaft, then waiting for that first drop! UGH I feel like I'm going to die just waiting. I've been on it twice and even though the drops weren't REALLY horrible for me, the anticipation and fear are more than I can handle. The first time I went I had no idea when the drop would happen and I was completely surprised and the second time I went on it I sat next to a lady who started screaming before the elevator left the first shaft, and she screamed so hard for the entire time that I was distracted.

Dinosaur also scares me but I will ride it. It's the end where the meteor is about to hit that freaks me out. I close my eyes every time.

I have ridden Mission Space, but I was SO scared I scared my oldest son. I liked it a lot but again, its the anticipation while waiting in line that gets me. I will ride the tamer version when we go back.

Same issue with Rock'n Roller Coaster..anticipation of that take off kills me. I love the ride but the being smashed into my seatback is REALLY uncomfortable!

TOT as in too scary no way I will ride. Mission space as in no way I would ride cause then I would spend the day tossing my cookies. Now if the new no spin version gets good reviews I might go for it.

:thumbsup2 My vote goes to Dinosaur, I've been on it 2 times now and in each picture that is taken at the end I'm in the fetal position hiding behind my boyfriend, ya really can't even see my front half!!! I have seen probably 2-3 dinosaurs throughout the entire ride and that's usually when the person talking says "Oh no that's not him he's a vegetarian dinosaur", I usually look up for a few seconds then but right after that it's back to hiding!!!

I just can't get past the intense sounds of people yelling and dinosaur's roaring in the speaker right next to my head! I've been close to crying at the end when he keeps telling us that we might not make it back and you can hear the dinosaur running behind you........I just keep screaming back at him that we better make it back :teeth: I won't try this ride again....2 times is my max for getting the snot scared out of me!

I haven't tried MS yet, DBF went on it last year and did fine with it but him knowing that I can't handle spinning rides advised that I not go on it.

What about Primeval Whirl? There is no way on earth I would get on that thing :sad2: . Someone put a video up because their car didn't stop spinning for quite a long part of the ride, and just watching that made me sick  . That would be one of my worst nightmares come true! I hate anything that spins, blah!

The only ride in all of WDW that scares me is "it's a small world".
:lmao:

There's really not a ride that i am terrified to go on. i have been on mission space. it's ok it does make you feel a little dizzy at the end though :thumbsup2
