Planning a huge group trip in Dec 2005, so was wondering which resturants are outside of disney, so I can start planning the food budget and what gc to be collecting thanks>
Tons of them There are Steak and Shakes, CiCi's Pizza, McDonalds, Golden Corral, Red Lobster, Burger Kings, Subways, Pizza Hut, Cracker Barrel, Dennys, Black Angus, O'Charleys, Ruby Tuesdays. That is all I can think of right now. There are the basic drive thrus too, like Checkers...etc. And of course Dunkin Doughnuts for dessert We have 1 Dunkin Doughnuts left where I live so that is our first stop on the way down through the first island gas station, some Munchkins....YUMMY! A few more hours till we're out of here YAY!
We haven't eaten off-site for a few years, but a couple of places that stick out in my mind are the Japanese restaurants (chains) that are similar to Teppanyaki in Epcot (food was just as good and more reasonably priced) and a restaurant called Jungle Jim's. That one was located in the same shopping plaza as the Gooding's store.
Like I said, it's been a few years since we went to either of those, so I don't know if they are even still around.
Here are some free coupons for alot of the Kissimmee - Disney area ones but more importantly, it's like a yellow page directory for restaurants by type.
Pretty much any restaurant you can think of is somewhere in Orlando. What kind of places do you think y'all would like? (Italian, buffet, seafood, asian...)
