What restaurants for large groups? (18 adults and 3 nine year olds).

We are open to either buffets or table service. I am a little tired of Chef Mickey's. TIA.

Not knowing if you prefer character meals or not, I would suggest Trail's End, relaxed, great food, and during the summer, next door is a sing a long with chip and dale starts at 8pm, I think 7 other times. With smores and singing. Lots of different choices for everyone and the kids would really enjoy the scenery.

Another one with characters we love is Tusker House, very relaxed as well, great buffet and characters are a lot of fun.

1900 Park Fare, great variety of food, nice environment and cute characters.

Most hotels have a wonderful food choice also.

Lots of other choices, but not really knowing what kind of experience you are looking for I will let others add their recommendations.

Boma never seems too crowded when I'm there, so I bet it would be easier than some others to fit in a large group. And my whole family likes the food there. You can spend some time at AKL looking at the animals, too.

I agree Trails End too! When we are there in November there were a couple of large groups seated together!

Another vote for Trails End!
We love the food and there's variety for everyone. Plus the resort grounds are so nice, we love visiting there

We had 23 or so for dinner at 'Ohana. It was fantastic! We had a long table in front of the fire pit, view of the Castle during Wishes, and attention for some celebrations from the entertainer. We were sprinkled with some major pixie dust! All 23 of us enjoyed the meal and everyone found something that they really liked.

Thanks for the great suggestions. I think I'll have the group look at Trail's end.

I love TE , 1900 PF and R&C but the spaces are going to be tight for such a large group and these are restaurants that are popular.

I want to suggest some restaurants that are larger in space and can more easily accommodate a large group.

WCC, GF Café, Citricos, the Wave, Boma, Trattoria al Forma, Maya Grill, Boatwrights, Turf Club, Yachtsmans St and Morimoto.
In the parK: Biergarten, Marrakesh, Nine Dragons, Via Napoli, Tutto Italia, Tusker House, Brown Derby, H&V can accommodate you but the food is terrible.
Dinner Shows - Hoop De Doo and Luau
It is going to be tough to get ADRs for 21. I would contact WDW's Group Gatherings and ask for their assistance. They specialize in large family planning.

Thanks Grumpy92. That was my concern that the restaurant couldn't accommodate all of us. We can split up. We are four families but some cousins want to be together.

We have done multiple family trips where we had up to four adrs for close to the same time for all of us (many families). Most restaurants tried really hard to sit us at the same time and near each other. Boma was one of the not so accommodating restaurants. Ohana, Whispering Canyon, Raglan Road, Cape May Café, Narcoosee's and Il Mulino were all awesome at getting us nearby/together. We would just show up, give all our adrs and specifically mention we were willing to wait to be seated nearby/at the same time. They will do what they can. Stay away from smaller restaurants and we found most resort restaurants were more accommodating than the park restaurants. It's challenging with a large group but so much fun! Enjoy.
