What restaurant NOT to miss?

I AGREE! RESTAURANT MERIKEESH ? AT EPCOT IS SOMETHING DIFFERENT AND THE FOOD IS GREAT.
AND WE LOVE OHANA'S! PRICEY, BUT YOU HAVE TO SAY, YOU CAME AWAY WELL FED!
OUR VACATIONS SEEM TO TURN INTO AN EATING FRENZY ALSO! i COME BACK AND THINK OF WHAT WE DID, AND IT ALL SEEMS TO HAVE TO DO WITH FOOD, I CAN NEVER REMEMBER ANY OF THE RIDES!
:wave2:

Definitely O'Hana's at the Poly resort. We went for the first time last year and really loved it!! We're going again this year.

. I would never go to Disney without going to Ohanas in the Poly. They have this huge buffet type meal, everything is so good. They serve all you can eat giant shrimp, and honey turkey, steak, chiken, pork. Its all amazing and the atmosphere makes it all. They do coconut races and play games for the kids. My favorite parts are the fresh pineapple desert that you dip in caramel. And if you time it correctly you can see the Magic Kingdom firework display out the windows

 Make a stop at Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club. Its great for a cool off on a warm day. They have a huge menu of amazing ice cream concoctions. If your brave try the kitchen sink. It actaully comes in a sink and is loaded with heaps of ice cream and topping and of course a cherry on top. The hamburgers are also a good lunch. Its a place you'll want to come back to

1)Teppanyaki dining at Mitsukoshi, Epcot - hands down favorite for myself & picky eater DH. Pricy but the quantity is huge. Shrimp, steak and scallops were all phenomenal, simply prepared and of the highest quality. Chef is entertaining, conviviality of other diners at our teppan always makes for a true Disney experience.

2)Crystal Palace (MK) breakfast - good food, beautiful setting, best amount of "face time" with characters we have experienced

3)Artist Point (WL) - excellent wild-caught salmon, great wine list, and yes, that berry cobbler!

4)lunch at Hollywood Brown Derby (MGM) - less expensive than dinner and the same great service, nostalgic atmosphere.

5)Tangerine Cafe (Morocco, Epcot) - quick counter service restaurant, but not your standard chicken strips/hamburgers choices. Good lamb shawarma (similar to gyros) and outstanding hummus

6)Citrico's (GFR) quiet, adult environment, superb food and outstanding service - they have never disappointed, but I like it better than DH. He has a hard time finding something he's willing to try (this is a man who doesn't like meat on the bone, lamb, veal...)

we like many of the others mentioned as well, but then we've not had a truly disappointing meal at Disney except for Cal. Grill, but that was because of a terrible server. We hope to have better luck there on a future visit.

We *love* the Prime Time at MGM! The food is awesome, portions great and the atmosphere sooooooo fun!! : )

During our visit, we tried out Akershus in Norway at Epcot because we wanted a nice dinner that was not the norm (like Italian or Mexican for us). It was absolutely delicious AND what we loved, it was buffet. They had a cold buffet out and a list of maybe 6 main hot dishes of which you could order as many as you wanted. And lets not forget an amazing dessert selection. My boyfriend tried something more native Norwegian while I opted for my tried and true chocolate cake, which was amazing. :)

Bump!!! I'm leaving in 6 weeks !!! Any more thoughts?

Mitsukoshi Teppanyaki Dining Rooms,50's Prime Time Cafe, and Sci-Fi Dine In should not be missed. :)

We always include a trip to Cape May's clambake at the BC and a dinner at Chefs de France in Epcot.........excellent food and for the seafood/expensive "French" ingredients, it is rather reasonable.
Mexico is good and has great atmosphere but is WAY overpriced!! They wanted over $20 for a chicken and rice dish that I can make at home for about $3!!!!!!!:D
