Swan and Dolphin are not owned by disney but are on site and do share many of the major onsite perks, but not Magical Express.

Old Key West and Saratoga Springs have 3 bedrooms, for sure, called "grand villas." I *think* the Boardwalk Villas may have a handful of 3BRs. I dont think the Wilderness Lodge Villas and Beach Club Villas have any 3BRs, but I might be wrong about that -- they may have a few or may be able to configure studios plus 2BRs in a couple of locations for a 3BR.

If you want to stay at a 3bd in anyone of the DVC resorts, you'd better sell a kidney, or two. Rack rate is over 1000/night.

Renting points is another option, but the grand villas fill up fast, so reservations will likely have to be made at the 11 month window. At $10/pt the rental will still be $3500-$6000/wk. Cheaper if the stay is 5 days Sun-Fri.

Just back last night from a long weekend in an Old Key West Grand Villa (3 bedrooms and 4 baths) and it was heavenly! That is my home DVC resort so both of my kidneys are still in place :rotfl: ...agree that you would be wise to check into renting DVC points if you need 3 bedrooms. You could spend a week in Europe for what you would have to pay in rack rates for a long weekend at an OKW Grand Villa!

The DVC resorts with 3 bedrooms are BWV, OKW, and SSR. Depending on when you want to go, the points needed for a weekly rental range from 356 (OKW in low season) to 966 (BWV in high season). Even point rental will be a big chunk of change.

My extended family is staying in a BWV grand villa starting on Saturday! We are very excited!!!

A few of the Disney resorts have two-bedroom suites. A two-bedroom suite actually comes with three rooms: parlor room (living/dining area), master bedroom, and second bedroom. You will normally find a sofa sleeper in the parlor room of the suite and thus it acts as an additional bedroom (note: the parlor room will either have a half-bath or full-bath, depending upon the suite that was booked). By the way, there are a handful of two-bedroom suites to which a third bedroom can be added. I know the Captains Deck Suite at the Yacht Club is one such suite. I’m sure there are others.

To get a feel for the pricing of Disney’s suites, go to the official website and look at each of the Deluxe Resorts and also the Coronado Springs Resort (it is a Moderate Resort but has suites). When you’re on the appropriate resort’s webpage, click on its “Rates” link. That webpage will show you exactly what categories of rooms are offered, as well as their pricing. For example, click here for the Grand Floridian's room rates, and click here for the Yacht Club's room rates.

When it comes to booking the DVC resorts, you can sometimes book the one- and two-bedroom villas. However, it is very difficult to book the Grand Villas (the three-bedroom villas) due to their scarcity. The DVC members seem to snap them up as soon as they are available for booking to the members. But sometimes miracles happen, so look at the Disney Vacation Club Resorts' webpages, too, for rate information.

I hope that helps.

I know you said "onsite" but just in case you want to keep your kidney (love that post) I once stayed at Hilton Grand Vacation Club in a gorgeous 2 bed villa. The living room had a pull out sofa. They do offer a 3 bd villa too. So much to do at the hotel (7 pools, small movie theater, etc...) we got this place for about $200/night ! W/D, full kitchen, screened in patio. Once we stayed at Reunion Resort in a 3 bedroom condo, each w/ separate bath ... it is more expensive but new and gorgeous. It is near Disney but not near a very built up area yet. Quick 5 minute drive into WDW but didn't have to get on I-4 which is great (TRAFFIC HORRIBLE ON I-4). You should be able to find both on the internet, if not post or send me a PM. :flower:

The DVC two bedroom villas sleep 8 with one king sized bed, either one or two queen sized beds, plus one queen sized sleeper sofa. If the second bedroom does not have two queen sized beds, it will have one queen sized bed and one double sleeper sofa.

The Grand Villas sleep 12. Not sure what the layout of them are since I haven't stayed in one.

You are funny but truthful! :rotfl2: Thanks for all the info. Off-site but very close would probably work.

They would like to keep one kidney at least! LOL :confused3

Any other suggestions would be great! TIA
:love2:
