Can someone please tell me what resorts offer a 3bdrm? My sister is looking for a place on-site.
A few of the Disney resorts have two-bedroom suites. A two-bedroom suite actually comes with three rooms: parlor room (living/dining area), master bedroom, and second bedroom. You will normally find a sofa sleeper in the parlor room of the suite and thus it acts as an additional bedroom (note: the parlor room will either have a half-bath or full-bath, depending upon the suite that was booked). By the way, there are a handful of two-bedroom suites to which a third bedroom can be added. I know the Captains Deck Suite at the Yacht Club is one such suite. Im sure there are others.
To get a feel for the pricing of Disneys suites, go to the official website and look at each of the Deluxe Resorts and also the Coronado Springs Resort (it is a Moderate Resort but has suites). When youre on the appropriate resorts webpage, click on its Rates link. That webpage will show you exactly what categories of rooms are offered, as well as their pricing. For example,
click here for the Grand Floridian's room rates, and
click here for the Yacht Club's room rates.
When it comes to booking the DVC resorts, you can sometimes book the one- and two-bedroom villas. However, it is very difficult to book the Grand Villas (the three-bedroom villas) due to their scarcity. The DVC members seem to snap them up as soon as they are available for booking to the members. But sometimes miracles happen, so look at the Disney Vacation Club Resorts' webpages, too, for rate information.
I hope that helps.
