What resort has the best pool in disney?

That's easy...YC/BC - Stormalong Bay is what many people refer to as a mini waterpark....

My next choice would be at the Swan/Dolphin...

Normally I would say opinions will vary, but in this case it really has to be the YC/BC. There is a large pool with a sandy bottom and mounds of sand in different places for the kids to play in. VERY fun for the kids. Then there are other sections of the pool with deeper water, a current with tubes you can rent, long water slide, separate pool with smaller slide. It's just incredible. The only complaint I've read is that parents with more than 2 children have a hard time keeping track of their kids, which is totally understandable. We only have 2 kids so we each keep an eye on one. But as far as "best pool" or "most fun for both kids and adults" I'd strongly vote for YC/BC. It has a lot to offer.

Definitely YC/BC! :thumbsup2

LOL is this a trick question?

SAB of course!

Sandy bottom pool, "lazy river," crazy long pirate shipwreck slide, whirlpool, jacuzzis, bridges, waterfalls, Hurricane Hannah's, sandy area to build castles... Need I say more?

We also love the pool at BC.

I will say that my kids also very much enjoyed the pools at POR and POFQ -- they loved being able to take the boat to both resorts and using such different, fun, themed pools. Also, my 5 yo LOOOOVVVVVEEEDDD the pool slide at POFQ -- lots of fun and not intimidating like the BC pool slide and more fun than the kiddie slide at BC.

Storm Along Bay at the Yacht and Beach Club is the best Disney pool, but it does have a few problems:

First off, it is impossible to see the whole pool area from any one pool chair. So if you have younger kids, or kids that are not very good swimmers, you have to keep them confined to one area in order to see them at all times.

Second is the fact that in order to get on the big slide you have to go away from the main pool area and cross a public sidewalk. The start of the slide is out of the main pool area, which is an issue if you have younger kids that want to go down the slide. You have to stand and watch them in order to see them get onto the slide.

Third is that they totally close down SAB at night. At every other Disney pool they just close the slide, but you can't swim in SAB at all at night. That is because SAB is more like a mini water park than a pool, but for my family it was a huge disappointment. We like to swim at night after a long day in the parks and you cannot do that at the Yacht and Beach Club unless you go to the plain old quiet pools.:sad1:It is too bad they can't keep the lifeguards on duty until Midnight so SAB is there for guests to use once the parks are closed.

We have stayed & swam at BC, CR, WL, AKL, and POR. We have enjoyed every pool. Yes, Stormalong Bay is beautiful. It is very large and you have to really watch your kids. I choose not to stay at BC until my dd was an expert swimmer. There are parts of the pool that are very deep and have a current. Also, the water slide is tall and covered. Lots of kids like it, my dd did not. She doesn't like covered slides.

We found the other pools very beautiful as well. We swim and go down the slide.

SAB followed by the pool at AKL Jambo. Awesome pool (great hot tubs)! :thumbsup2
