We're trying to decide on what resort for our honeymoon... we are only planning on spending 5 nights at Disney, so we want the best experience possible.

Thanks!!

You've got the best chance at getting a king bed at the AKL given the choices listed above.

The YC is walking distance to Epcot.

Have you looked into the honeymoon suites at the WL? More affordable than the ones at the other deluxes, with a jacuzzi :)

hmmmm....
your mainly going to use the room I presume...lol...so I would definatley say AKL...it will give you that "out of the country" feel...and very romanatic! Although are you going to have time to look at the animals between park runs..and "honeymooning";)

but the YC is very romantic...and allows easy access to the "adult" parks...which cuts down on travel time and leaves more time for park play and "honeymooning"... plus the great pool is a big plus...

It can go either way...to get the best of both worlds...I would say the YC....

We stayed at the Ploynesian twenty one years ago. It was a memorable, happy occasion for us. Since that time, we have been back to Disney about 15 times. Last year on our 20th anniversary, we spent it at the Poly, in a room directly above the room we spent our honeymoon. We stayed in the room above so we could have a deck this time. The Polynesian is all about atmosphere........The entire resort speaks to relaxation and a place where you will want to return to for fond memories. We have stayed at almost every other resort since '82 and we can say that we are glad that we began at the Poly.....

Just keep in mind at the WL and AKL that the rooms in savannahs and courtyards look across the way into one another:o. I'd say go with the AKL, it is secluded and romantic.

I'd choose the Yacht Club.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!

but, I'm bias because YC/BC is our favorite resort. Either one, I'm a little partial to BC.

I think it would be perfect for a honeymoon. I think the Epcot Resort area is great for couples without kids. A quick walk and you're at World Showcase which I find very romantic. Take the time to check out the entertainment in the countries. Great dining abounds at WS and the boardwalk. We love it there! We even find Stormalong Bay romantic - there's a spot close to Beaches & Cream with a waterfall and it tends to not be very crowded. We call it "our spot" - but we'll share. LOL!

Have fun and congratulations. Whichever you choose you'll have a blast but I would HIGHLY recommend YC or another resort in the Epcot Resort Area.

Hi!

We stayed at the WL for our Honeymoon in one of the Honeymoon suites. There are four of them and they are located on the concierge floor (7th).

The four Honeymoon suites have King Beds and also the awesome jacuzi tub. Our suite looked towards the Magic Kingdom and the CR. All views for the WL honeymoon suites are woods view.

On our first morning the concierge staff had prepared a breakfast basket for us complete with name card and rose. How beautiful. The concierge staff was attentive to all of our needs and knew that honeymooners need their privacy.:D

The concierge food was great. Turndown service was awesome.

The price for the room was good considering the other options for Honeymoon suites at Disney.

Good luck on your room choice and a happy and wonderful Honeymoon to you both!

Ditto (Forever a Princess)
We stayed in one of the honeymoon suites at the WL last Oct for our Honeymoon. The staff was incredible. They sent over a bottle of champagne on our first night with a card and the day we left they gave us a chocolate bar with a picture (colored chocolate) of the WL to take home. They were attentive and respectful of our privacy.
The WL is very romantic. Nothing like watching the MK fireworks from your balcony and enjoying the in-room jacuzzi (for two).
We'd highly recommend the WL for Honeymooners! (or for anyone)

Since you have already stayed at the WL, I chose the AKL. I just returned from a 3 day trip there and it was great! My DH loved it. I also assume that you can't afford the fancy honeymoon suites since that was not mentioned.
