What resort are you going to stay on your honeymoon?

Excellent news Lisa - it is soo fab there I spent a morning there snooping around in December. I think it's very important to have the wedding that you want and having the WP is a dream for most brides so I'm happy for you. And you get to stay at Universal too - you are gonna have the BEST time.

I think people should stay wherever they like! But if they CAN afford a moderate or deluxe, go for it! You only honeymoon once!

Unless you are me. Whoops! My first honeymoon was at Disney and we stayed in the turret Honeymoon suite at the GF. Was amazing, but never would have stayed there had I known the cost! $275 a night is where I draw the line!

My now-fiance and I aren't honeymooning in WDW (that would just be wrong, don't you think? ) but we are going in October for a regular vacation and staying at the Beach Club Villas. The Beach is one of my favs!

My fiance and I will be staying at Port Orleans Riverside on our Disneymoon in May!! I am sooooo excited. We were gonna stay at POP Century but yesterday I upgraded to Port Orleans Riverside. I realized that it wasn't gonna cost that much more, So I had to. I got lucky too it looks as though most of the resorts are booked for the same time I'll be there(May 21-27) . I cannot wait. My fiance could care less about where we stay (he isn't as enthusiastic about WDW as me) . I've been reading all these good reviews about POR all over this forum and thought it would be more romantic. Plus this will be my only honeymoon I ever go on. SO WHY NOT UPGRADE!!!! Thank you everyone on these boards for helping me see the light!!

LAST TIME WE WERE THERE WE STAYED AT CBR AND IT WAS NICE, BUT THE POOL AND HAMMOCKS WERE LOADED W/ SCREAMING KIDS. I RUINED TO BOOK IN THE HOT TUB FROM KID DOING CANNON BALLS. FOR OUR HONEYMOON WE'RE STAYING AT POFQ, IT LOOKS MORE PEACEFUL. I HOPE IT WORKS OUT BETTER FOR YOU.

My first real post in the forums. FH and I are soooooo excited about our Disneymoon! We've been going crazy looking through the Unofficial guide and DW for Couples!

We'll be staying at AKL in a Savannah room. FH is a huge animal geek (I am, too, but not as much as him), so it'll be great fun to look out over the animals when we wake up.

We're getting married on Aug 8 and hitting DW on Aug 9!

In just a few days we will be staying at the AKL concierge for a week (we are also doing a celebrity cruise but have to put that off because of DFH's schedule)

We stayed one week at the BWI (Boardwalk View!), followed by one week at the GF, where they upgraded us to the Honeymoon Concierge level.

Ahhhhhh, I wish we could do it all over again.

So far, its 7 nights at the GF in a honeymoon concierge.... if we can get a jetted tub one. If not, then we will just do a concierge delux.

We are totally splurging (and using money we are getting back from taxes, thank god for our house!). But then again, this honeymoon is a year and two months delayed, so we deserve it!

LOL that'll be me too and I think all brides deserve to be spoiled on their honeymoon.

We stayed one night at the WL and the rest at the Polynesian (then onto the cruise). I really wanted to stay at the GF and DH wanted to stay at the Contemporary. That certainly was NOT my idea of honeymoon romance! LOL So we compromised at the Polynesian, which we loved.

we are staying 4 nights at GF (standard room) Then the real HM starts in Hawaii (3 islands) for 15 days!!!! You only get to do it once!!

We stayed at the All-Star Music for our honeymoon...hey, we don't have an extra $300 to spend each night for a room...we would rather use that for food and gifts.
