I called at 7:00 on the dot. CM told me no AP rates, so I tried to switch to WL with AAA-no luck. I get to school, turn on the computer 45 minutes later and I see AP rates have been released. I got the kids busy and hopped on the phone. I got BWI for $195 plus tax for July 8-16!! I am BESIDE myself. We will be celebrating my younger DD's 13th birthday on this trip. Her dream resort is BWI. Now if I can just keep this quiet until check in!! WOO HOO....the wait was SOOOOOOOOOOOO worth it!

Woo hoo! That's a great rate and I'm so glad you were diligent in watching for the discount to get it. Sometimes it's all about timing. ---Kathy

Usually when they release AP rates they release FL resident rates. DO you know if any FL rates were released?

I haven't heard anything about FL Resident Rate, but that doesn't mean they aren't out. My first CM didn't even think July rates were out for AP holders.

I tried for 7/16-7/22 for any Deluxe and was told nothing cheaper than 275 was available. I will try again on my lunch to see if any cancellations came through.

My dates are June 4-10.

We have AKL AAA room only.

The only thing available was Epcot resorts for $269 per night plus tax.

I am pay $200 less total for AKL, so I stuck with that.

If it had been the same or cheaper I would have gone through the trouble of convincing DD14 to switch.

Oh well, really wanted the Poly, but I'll survive, we're going to disneyworld!

Good Luck everyone!!

Just called for June 18 - 22nd. Nothing except SS studio available. I have BWV studio with DVC cash discount ($269) but was looking to move over to BC/YC. CM said to call in a few days back because she was not having any luck with BC availability today. Not complaining about BWV, but BC is my favorite.

How did you get BWI for 195? I'm at 302 including tax for BC and they are both the same price. hmmmmm

Did you use FDK code as posted on the other thread?

I called at 7:30 a.m. and wasn't able to get anything in the EPCOT resort area for one night on 7/11/07. I called back about half an hour ago and was offered a wide range of views and rates for all three EPCOT resorts AND the BWV and BCV.

I opted for YC standard at $194 p/night. I saved a whopping $11.25 off my WL woods view res, but we are planning on spending the evening at EPCOT that day and it will be more convenient to be at YC. Guess I'll be saving the WL for another day. I must admit, I wasn't all that crazy over the idea of staying there anyway, but it was close to the Polynesian where we head on 7/12/07 for the bulk of our stay. The taxi ride will be just a bit longer, but it will be worth it to exit EPCOT after Illuminations on 7/11/07 w/o the waiting for a bus.

I still long for the good old days where I was able to score AP rates on the Polynesian in summer. . .:sad2:

Just used FDK code - got 2 studios at OKW July 14 for $164/night each, and 2 studios at SSR for July 20-21 for $164/night each - yaaay :cool1: (We're at DVC - OKW on points during the two weeks around the 20th)

The BWI room I have is standard. When the CM answered, I just asked about AP rates for the BWI for July. I didn't use a code, though.

I got the CBR for 139.00 a night July 1-7 for two rooms. Have to pay rack rate for June 29-30 but oh well I saved 240.00. per room so I am excited!!:cheer2:

The rate I received for the Beach Club was $258 per night for May 31-June 4. I was hoping for a little lower, but this rate is not bad.

Just FYI - I was quoted the same rates for the Yacht Club, Wilderness Lodge was $219 and Old Key West was $208.

Was this inc tax? Just trying to get a fix on what the discounts actually are as it doen't seem to say anywhere..

Thanks

Our dates are July 20-31.
We originally were booked as a split stay. July 20-27 at Wilderness and July 38-31 at Beach Club.
Called this morning at 8:15 ET. Tried to change entire stay to Yacht or Beach and nothing available. Couldn't even do a split stay.

Was able to get Boardwalk Inn Standard View for $195 per night for entire stay so I switched. Saving about $30 per night off WL and $140 per night off Beach Club. Very excited.

I just received a standard at Port Orleans French Quarter for $156.38 (inc tax) for Friday July 13th for 1 night. :goodvibes

That was not with tax. The total with tax was $290.25. The rack room rate with tax was somewhere around $403

I called around 8 am ET and booked POR for July 14-21 for $139 before tax/$156.38 after. There will be 5 of us, so this will let us stay in one room on this trip. I had my choice of water or standard view but opted for the standard. These trips are really starting to add up! Shhhh!!! Don't tell dh. Hopefully he'll go for VWL again this Christmas. :)
