What Regional Food does your McDonalds have?

I remember a few years ago, they sold grits on the breakfast menu. Everything else is pretty much the same basic items.

:rotfl: I love Smarties, but I can hardly find anyone here who likes them, much less anyone who would blend them up in icecream....wait...Smarties over there are the same as Smarties here arent' they?

No smarites are a candy coated chocolate like an M&M but better...

Theme song...

Sing the Smarties Song!
When you eat your Smarties,
Do you eat the red ones last?
Do you suck them very slowly,
Or crunch them very fast?
Eat that candy-coated chocolate,
But tell me when I ask,
When you eat your Smarties,
Do you eat the red ones last?

There are lots of biscuits on the breakfast menu here, including a respectable gravy and biscuit. I can't remember whether you can get a country ham biscuit -- most fast food places here do serve them.

McDonald's has had sweet tea as long as I can remember, but the reduced price has just been for the last year or so. Do those of you just getting sweet tea pay $1 for a large or more?

I had no idea the McDonald's menu varied so much!

Oh yeah, thanks for this post! Ours does carry country ham biscuits. I don't know why I didn't think of that as a regional item.

Inspired by the Chick-fil-A thread.

I don't think my McDonalds has anything different than what the rest of the US has. It has sweet tea, but I think most other places have that too.

GRITS! I can get them at one McD's here and not the other. Some are in the Baton Rouge District, and some (the ones without Grits) are in the New Orleans District. So I'm guessing that means it's regional. ;)

ETA: I always forget when i'm at the NO Districted McDs and order grits. It's funny to watch them look at me like I have 2 heads!:rotfl2:
