What Regional Food does your McDonalds have?

We have Peach-Mango Pies, Haupia Pies and I forget the other one, maybe banana? They all alternate.

It's banana! When we were in Hawaii, we kept seeing the sign and finally had to try one. It was good!!

Can you believe that they tried to sell us McDonald's Crabcakes here in Maryland?!?!?!?!?!?! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I haven't seen them in a few years so maybe they gave up on the idea.

I :lmao: when they had those too. The nerve!

Here in Doha Qatar we have McArabias. Now they only have the chicken type but they used to have lamb kofta too. Basically its pita type bread with spicy meat patties, lettuce, sauce. Delicious:thumbsup2 But I read the nutritional info the other day and they are the highest in fat and calories on the whole menu!!! Yikes:scared1:

During Ramadan last year they had Date Pies. I didn't try that...I don't eat dates.

They had spring rolls for a while..they were very, very greasy.

They used to have chedder stuffed jalepenos. Yum. Wish they would bring those back.

I figured they had differnt items in other countries I never realized they'd have differnt items in differnt parts of the US, learn something new everyday. Do they sell the Shamrock Shakes everwhere...love those. I too like the McRib. Can't think of anything else though...

i am on cape cod and i am curious to see if McDonalds brings back the lobster roll this summer since lobster and all seafood has become SO expensive...even the less then appealing lobster used by McDonalds.

I went to school in Indiana and they had the big breakfast platters with pancakes, eggs, sausages, homefries, bacon, etc.
We definitely don't have that on the Cape..only the basic breakfast sandwiches.

We have the BEST sweet tea!!! Yum Yum Yum Yum Yum!!

Also, the southern style chicken sandwich is pretty good. Not quite as good as Chick-fil-a, but close! :rotfl2:

On a drive down to Florida we stopped at a McD in South Carolina for breakfast and we ordered Bacon egg and cheese biscuits- which we have had at home-but WOW!! Those biscuits they have down south are melt in your mouth delicious.

I had to laugh, we live in SC and I hate the bacon, egg, cheese biscuits here! They're so dry I need 2 teas to eat one biscuit. Where did you stop? We occasionally have the McRibs, always have tea, and we've had the southern chicken sandwiches for over a year. No latte here and I don't know what combination of ketchup and mustard they put on the burgers, I just assumed it was the same all over.

Nothing now. I remember back in the day, fried catfish at one in EBF Missouri, Crab Cakes at the ones in Maryland and I have had the lobster roll in Cape Cod, MA

I love lobster. Are they any good? Is summer lobster season or just tourist season?

Just tourist season. Lobster season is any month with an R in it. Otherwise they shells are soft and the meat kind of slimy. JUNE, July, and August do not have an R in them.

That sandwich is pretty good and will be FREE on Thursday!!!

I guess the Snack Wraps are everywhere. No Teri-burgers in South FL.

Now, that's something I've never heard of. I like cheese curd, but it's hard to find around here.

We call the Poutine "Heart Attack on a Plate"....It's so yummy...I don't have them anymore...but they are yummy.

We have also had the southern style chicken sandwich and biscuit for over a year. I simply don't like it. It really does look like they are trying to copy Chick-Fil-A. Great, now I have to stop there on my way to work tomorrow morning. I've just got to have some chicken minis for breakfast.

I'm another one who is glad McDonald's brought back the Southwestern Chicken Salad.

Until this week reading on here I had no idea that mustard isn't standard on all McDonald's standard burgers. Does everyone still get onions and pickles?

No one's mentioned the cheddar melt yet. They have these occasionly around here. I used to LOVE them, until I bit into one and it was raw in the middle! Gross! I don't find them appealing anymore.

+fried buffalo mozzarella
+fried shrimp
+salads with tuna and other seafood
+No quarter pounders:confused3
+something called a McToast, which I never saw in America. It looks like it should be a breakfast item.
+No breakfast served
+caprese, which is sliced buffalo mozzarella and sliced tomatoes with oil and basil
+McFlurries with Smarties candy
+NO Heinz ketchup. This crap is vinegar based and nasty! It comes in the nugget sauce containers and costs 10Eurocents each. Mayo is same way.
+Beer.....Nastro Azzuro.

They still had fried appple pies  when I moved here 4 years ago, but they got rid of them a couple years ago. They are trying to do the healthy stuff here too.

We also have that snack wrap in the Chicago area. Our hamburgers have ketchup, mustard, pickles and onions. Didn't know that there were differences in the hamburgers.

So do ours, I hate that.
The good thing is we always get freshly made cheeseburgers because we get them with only ketchup.

:rotfl: I love Smarties, but I can hardly find anyone here who likes them, much less anyone who would blend them up in icecream....wait...Smarties over there are the same as Smarties here arent' they?

One thing our local McD's has is The Big n Tasty. They introduced it back when I was in HS (I think), took it away and I've only in the last few years seen it come back.

It's a hamburger on a sourdough roll with some kind of sauce that reminds me a bit of Thousand Island dressing. They are SO yummy though. :goodvibes

Wow I had no idea the variety McDonalds sells!!! We just got Sweet Tea here recently. About once a year they bring back the McRib, but everything else is Quarter Pounder, Big Mac, Chicken Nuggets and salads.

NY here and I know we also have the Big and Tasty. They basically just keep the lettuce, tomatoes etc on the otherside of the meat.

No clue what the appeal is there, but whatever.

We lived in Wisconsin for two years and they had Brats during the summer. We did not eat there though as they had a regional place called Culvers with butter burgers

That was the only food in Wisconsin that had NY beat.

Would it kill them to have a deli out there ? :)
