Inspired by the Chick-fil-A thread.

I don't think my McDonalds has anything different than what the rest of the US has. It has sweet tea, but I think most other places have that too.

I don't know that ours has anything regional, but I did once get a lobster roll at a McDonalds in Bangor, Maine.

Ours doesn't have sweet tea. It just has what I would consider the normal McD's menu. I have a friend from Guam who says at the McD there you can get rice with most everything and the menu is a bit different.

During the summer we have Lobster rolls in New England.

On a drive down to Florida we stopped at a McD in South Carolina for breakfast and we ordered Bacon egg and cheese biscuits- which we have had at home-but WOW!! Those biscuits they have down south are melt in your mouth delicious.

Oh and the only oddity I think is that our mcdonalds puts mustard and ketchup on the burgers- when we were in ny it was JUST ketchup.

One in a town close by has kringla

What is kringla?

I just thought of something else our McDonalds has - Chipotle BBQ Snack Wrap. Does everyone have that?

Breakfast platters all have rice, some have Spam and some have portuguese sausage and some have both.

We have Peach-Mango Pies, Haupia Pies and I forget the other one, maybe banana? They all alternate.

Ours serves saimin as well!! (noodles)

Our tea is Hawaiian tea. They serve Kona coffee.

Can't remember what else.

I've also had a lobster roll at McD's in Maine! We do have the chipolte wraps.

Nothing that I've seen personally, though supposedly some McDonalds in the Pacific Northwest have hard ice cream dipping centers in the restaurant that sell Tillamook ice cream. (Tillamook is a fantastic creamery/cheesemaking factory on the Oregon Coast). Tillamook ice cream is to die for, and it's the only cheese my husband will let me buy. :) If you ever find yourself in that area, tour the factory and try some squeaky cheese. :)

we don't have cappuccino and we have Mc Ribs after christmas! DS works there and he said people come in all the time wanting cappucinos but they don't sell them around here. He also said no every place sells a Mc Rib.

We have dip cones for the summer, not sure if everyone has those.

I had also heard that about the topping on hamburgers. I am not sure what ours has. I do know I looked at White Castles website and they have different calorie counts for different areas.

New Mexico has all kinds of green chili stuff. :scared:

Now, I'm not sure if they have them every summer, but I know they've had them at least 2 different summers...Bratwurst

They usually have the McRibs once a year too.

We also have that snack wrap in the Chicago area. Our hamburgers have ketchup, mustard, pickles and onions. Didn't know that there were differences in the hamburgers.

Here in the south we get the McRib from time to time. I *think* it's a regional thing.

Of course, we have Sweet Tea year round. We also have a ranch chicken snack wrap...don't know if that's local or not.

::yes:: Yep. We have the ice cream, and Dippin dots. We just got the southern style chicken... and I like it! I know.. Stone me if you must. :rotfl2:

All we buy is Tillamook cheese.. Its either that or the store brand though.

Oh... and I think DH would sell the children for a McRib sandwich. He LOVES them, and gets all weepy when he thinks about them!:rotfl2:

I can eat Kraft, or even store brand, but I must admit that nothing beats Tillamook Extra Sharp Cheddar for me. :)

I see advertisements for the McRib occasionally too, so it's in the Pacific Northwest. Usually I hear that it's back only for a limited time. It's not something that I would ever order, so I don't pay too much attention to it. :)

They recently brought back the Southwest Salad here in Oregon. It is the BEST thing they make---yummy! For almost a year they took it off the menu, and they lost a lot of my money during that time :) I also love their iced coffee.

I recently went to a local McD's that has a brand new gourmet coffee menu.
