What rates for WL with AP this year

What rates have you gotten since the economy sizzled for WL with AP discount and for which time period (peak, off season, etc.) and what room category? Thanks!

I'm not sure if I got a good deal or not - never stayed at WL. I called yesterday and got 16, 17, and 18 Dec for $209 and 19 and 20 Dec for $159 for CY view. Do you think I can do better?

$159/night plus tax for a Std. View room during Value Season in December 2008. That's with a passholder discount.

Actually, if you got $159 for a CY view and someone else the same for standard, that is very good. The reason for the increase on the other days is the days of the week they are for I believe, as Diisney charges different rates for some days of the week, season and or holiday times.

Unfortunately, I got $209, not $159. Maybe I need to re-think this.

I just checked the RR for value and it is $275, so I did ok, not great, just ok. We've always wanted to stay at WL in December.

I'm paying $224 (before tax) for a woods view on Dec 20 with the AP rate (booked 8/15). Rack rate on this room is $415.

Previously, I had a woods view bunk bed room and the rack rate was $435 (before the AP discounts came out), so I thought I was getting a good deal at almost 50% off rack. I thought it was so high because it was Christmas. This was booked in April.

Lowillian got $159 for a courtyard -- what kind of rate was that? Sounds like I should call back? What do you guys think?

Hi Vicki c - I got 209, not 159 for courtyard. I think someone else got 159 for standard. I wish it were 159!

Definitely call back. I've had my reservation for the Villas at WLm Dec 22 - 26since the AP rates came out. The AP rate only applied to the 22nd and 23rd not the 24th or 25th. On Friday a new code came out that was for the SAME rate but included the 24th. I called and they applied the code saving me about 200.00. That pays for some wonderful extra while we are there, I'm not sure what yet but I'll find it.

I might call back tomorrow and just see if there's any more savings to be squeezed out! We're only staying one night (moving to a DVC on points after that), so if there's no more to save, it's not a big deal.
