What rate did you get w/ new code??

Are the AP rates still coming out on Aug. 1?

With the current code, I was quoted a rate for AKL Concierge that is about 58% less than the rack rate for that time of year.

Should I pay the deposit and then change it if the AP rate is better?

Flower - book the room now and grab the discount. When the AP rates come out you can check what they are...if they are less than you can change the same reservation to an AP rate. At least if you book it now you know you will have a room and that price. If you wait, it may or may not go up or down, and may or may not be available.

This is what we always do...book when we know we are going and then change the rate two or three times before we finally get to the rate we actually pay.

I just took DH to the airport this morning for a business trip, and saw the first post about an hour ago.

I've booked my dates, and the nice CM (Renee) that I spoke to told me that my deposit won't be due until after the AP rates come out.

If you book through Expedia can you still cancel and rebook if the AP rate is lower?

I've never booked through Expedia....

They usually scare me off with the 'Non refundable" deposit.

That's why I like dealing with CRO better...

My husband and I are still in total disbelief. We had booked the Grand Floridian in a Lagoon View room Dec 22 though Dec 27 for a cost of $3191.00. Dreams Unlimited has gotten back to us and the new cost for those dates is now $1326.00. They had already tranferred our deposit and everything!!! We saved over $1800. 00. We keep trying to wake ourselves up because we must be dreaming. This is just too good to be true. Anyone else out there get this rate?

I got $199.00 plus tax ($220.89) for seven nights at the Beach Club from 10/4 thru 10/11....I called last week and the rate for the same room (Standard) was $319.00...wahoo!!!...hope everyone makes out equally as well...

Talk about pinching!!! DH is in MS on a business trip and has no clue what's going on at home!!!!!!!!!

YIPPIE!Just off the phone.Original rate for CBR Nov 15-23(DC package) was 2167.09 ,new rate(although we did drop a day)1541.49 .That is a 625.00 savings. I am so excited thanks to everyone for your help.

We got $243.09 (incl tax) for 1 bdrm suite at OKW, 11/8-11/16. Got a better rate there for end of September/Beginning of Oct with Fall codes. We're trying to decide which ressie to keep or whether we should try for a different resort.

I got Polynesian garden concierge for $254.19 per night (tax incl.) and Yacht Club lagoon concierge for $332.17 per night (tax. incl.) for early Dec. Yahoo!

We started looking for the codes at 6:00 AM. When they came out at 7 we immediately started dialing on two cell phones. We ended getting the GF honeymoon conceirge suite in the main building for 6 nights plus tickets for $3651. The room was discounted to $399 a night +tax.

I called the Disney Club number for the Disney Club code on Mousesavers and the rate was the same as the general public code. I think you lucked out pugdog.
