What quirks do you have?

I started a thread recently about everyone's quirky pets. OK, now I want to now how quirky YOU are!

I CANNOT STAND for my bare feet to touch grass! Not one little toe! It literally makes me want to scream if my feet get anywhere near a single blade.

I have a compulsion about finding parking spaces where I can pull straight through, so that when I leave I don't have to back the car out. It will just make my day if I can just drive straight out of a parking space when I'm at WalMart! It rightly irritates anyone who drives with me.

What about you?!

I hate water spots on my faucets and chairs not pushed under the table!

No shoes on the bed, on the couch, in the house in general. The minute you enter my house, you take your shoes off! Pronto!

I gag at lint, dust bunnies, and hair in the drain. DH laughs himself silly listening to me when I clean the bathroom! Yuck, yuck, yuck!

I hate when anybody puts their feet on pillows (the kind you use to sleep) Bleeech... DISGUSTING!

I like to eat my fruit while I'm eating my main meal, not afterwards. This is especially true with watermelon.





Huh... when I write this all down, I feel like a lunatic.

I am the same way!! I cannot stand the thought of bare feet on grass! It gives me the heebie jeebies! The same goes for ocean, rivers, and lakes! Can't step in them at all!

Ooooo, Cyndee, I'm showing your post to my dh! He swears I'm the only one with a Grass/Foot Thing! It gives me the heebie jeebies too!

It's so bad for me that if I am wearing sandals, and the grass touches the sides of my feet, I start to freak out! I think I might need to go to BFIGA...Bare Feet In Grass Anonymous!

I CANNOT stand it when my pillowcases are not on my pillows perfectly! If the pillowcases are twisted and the seam is in the middle of the pillow I MUST drop everything I am doing and fix it immediately.

I can't stand tags in my clothes. I cut them out all the time!

I thought I was the only one who dies this!! I have been known to take pillow from under DH's head to fix it!!

Also, I cannot stand to have the TV on when I am reading!! I'll go into the bedroom at night and pull out my book (I love/need to read every night before I go to sleep). DH knows that if he comes in after I am settled not even to attempt to turn on the TV. I don't need it quiet, but NO TV!

Shoes all over at the door, just gets under my skin. I bet I straighten them 10 times a day. Shoes are not allowed to be worn in my house either.

lights on all over the house, I will go around at night and turn all the lights off. Chairs not pushed under the table when someone gets up.

DH says i am a neat nick, but I just don't see all the things I fuss about.

I hate bulky clothes. Sweaters, jackets..I almost never wear them no matter how cold it is.

When it gets cold I wear a light fleece. I would rather suffer than wear a jacket or sweater.

Gotta have the towels folded and stacked neatly in my linen closet! My 5 yr. old helped me fold laundry the other day. She was soo proud of herself! It's driving me nuts to not re-do them all.
Oh well, with the hot weather and all the swimming we do here - they'll all be dirty in no time and I'll be sure to do towels late at night until she's big enough to fold to my specifications.

I can't stand wet feet on sand. I love the beach, but you won't catch me near the water. I can remember my mom and I vacationing in Miami and I was about 5. I screamed because the sand was sticking to my feet. I am the same way now minus the screaming!! I also hate when the kids leave their crap laying around the kitchen and living room. Do what they want in their bedroom but pick your stuff up elsewhere. Another peeve...DH won't draw the shower curtain closed after a shower. I have repeatedly told him that mildew builds up in those wet folds.

I LOVE being outside in the grass without shoes on. It shocks me that so many people hate it.

My biggest quirk is I cannot stand anything in my teeth. I keep dental floss at my computer, in my car, and in my purse at all times. Johnson & Johnson has to love me! I also will not eat corn off the cob. It must be cut off 1st. It just drives me nuts even when I'm eating.

Quirks eh...i may be the queen of them. My friends tease me constantly.

* I hate my feet being covered when I sleep, must be bare no matter how cold. My brother is the same way, weird.

* I can't stand eating with a spoon, even ice cream i eat with a fork. I barely eat cerel as a result.

*my socks never match...i mean it. Maybe close in color, and i usually only wear colored or patterned socks which makes it even more obvious. To much time waisted on matching socks.

*I prefer to eat desert first, that way if something happens and you have to leave early or dinner isn't finished, you had the best part first.

*I read the last page of every book first, in case I lose it or don't finish it.

*MUST HAVE 2 pillows to sleep with and noise in the background, silence is to noisy. Maybe someone out there understands what i mean by that.

*When chewing my food, i always end on the right side, this is really odd to me but a quirk.

That is all I can think of for the moment. Wow seems like a little OCD to me. I'm really not though, and very laid back. Hard to tell from this post though.
