What programs are you using to design? Also, is there a how-to thread?

I'm preparing to do my "final exam" project in my Computer Visual Design class at school, and we use mostly Photoshop and a little (very little) illustrator. I really have to go all out for this project, so I'd like it to be something I'd actually use again, such as a shirt I can wear for my upcoming trip. I have some ideas in my head, and I'll be looking at more designs posted here to get my creative juices running.

Just wondering what programs most of you are using? Please say Photoshop, so I know I have a prayer of pulling this off? :lmao: It's due Monday, so I don't have time to learn another program! :rotfl2:

Also if there is a how to get started thread, I'd love it if someone could point me in the right direction!

Thanks so much!

Many of us, like me, use Photoshop Elements and I have PSE7. There is plenty of info on doing transfers to shirts, tie dye etc. but I've never seen a how to DISign thread.

I simply looked at others DISigns, learned to find the clip art I wanted on Google, pulled a good Mickey head blank and experimented, struggled and now am a DISigner! People are wearing my DISigns at the parks!! Yahoo.
