What present "meant the most" to you?

My DS8 wrote a card that said "I love you and you are my best friend in the world" accompanied by a necklace he made, bead by bead.

The Ruby & Diamond Tennis Braclet my DH bought me. I love Rubies and he knows it, so he enjoys buying them for me - he's a great guy!!! :)

The diamond tennis bracelet DH bought me that I had NO IDEA he was even thinking about. First time in 22 years he's bought me diamonds...I was floored.

I'm sure DW Lauri would answer this one with this: Having her boss come down and fire her no good backstabbing assistant the week of Christmas, and then leaving her a message that she appreciates everything that she does and she couldn't have made it this year without her after the jerk slandered her to the boss and told her she was a liar, a theif and had no business being in her position in the company.

FINALLY!!! Merry Christmas to your DW!

Hubby surprised me with a Tedi Bruschi official, on-field Pro Bowl jersey! That was the last game Tedi played in before his stroke last year and for a while we didn't think he'd ever play again.

I would say the ring that my DD 13 pick out and bought with her own money.. The ring has 3 hearts with mom in the gold.. :lovestruc

My favorite gift this year was a memory scrapbook made by my foster mother for me... granted I am 37 now...
Lived with her from the age 14 -18 and she has taken all the pictures of of me and them and put it into a beautiful book along with a letter saying how she did'nt give birth to me but we will always be Mom and daughter.....
Made me cry like a baby!! :flower:

That my sister showed up for Christmas dinner and gift exchange. My dad died a few months ago and she is still having a very difficult time. We are the only two children. Although Dad not being there was very hard, we managed to get through it together

Dh took all 3 kids out and let them each pick out an italian charm for my keychain. :) It may not seem like much but the fact that he did it and so early in the year was wonderful :)

BTW, they were all Disney characters :)

My daughter slept until 7:45 on Christmas day. It was truly a Christmas miracle that I got to sleep past 6:30 :rotfl: I'm hoping this coming baby is a sleeper.

These meant the most to me. They were given to me by my best friend, my dh and my mother:

Being able to relax and spend quality time with my dh. This is the first Christmas where it was just the two of us, and we both really enjoyed it.

This one is easy for me. Let me preface that my DH is a manager at Toys R Us, so in the weeks leading up to Christmas he was working 70 hour weeks. I don't know how he found the time to do it...but....

He gave me a photo album and on each page was a line from the Dan Folgerberg (I am 2nd guessing myself on who sings the song now) song "Longer" It's the slow one that goes "Longer than there were fishes in the ocean...." Anyway...along with the line from the song on each page was a Disney picture that would go with it. So, the line about the fishes had a picture of the clown fish from the living seas. The line that repeats through the song is "I've been in love with you" and on those pages is a princess and her prince, but on the last one is a picture of us sitting outside Moroccan pavillion on our honeymoon. It's so amazing because he managed to include a picture from all of my favorite spots (Poly lobby, Ohana fire pit) and tie it in with the song. He even worked in our leave a legacy tile!

So, when girlfriends at church CHristmas morning were showing off their new earrings and bracelets I was just warm and fuzzy thinking about how DH knows exactly what I love and took the time to make something so special and personal for me.

My new ruby and diamonhdheart shaped pendant- ruby is our baby Christopher's birthstone and he and Daddy picked it out for me. I also go a picture made of red and green hand and footprints that they made from finger paints. It's his first artwork!

The gift that meant the most this year wasn't really a Christmas gift at all. We were at my husband's grandmother's house and I was asking her some questions about quilting. She used to quilt a long time ago and I knew she didn't do it anymore, but I thought she might know someone who does (I've been looking for a hand-made quilt for a while now). Anyway, she got up and went into her bedroom...and came back with a quilt *her* mother had made...and gave it to me. I told her how wonderful it was but that she really didn't have to do that...she told me she just needed the closet space! :p

So, I now have a twenty-something year old quilt made by my husband's great-grandmother. It is one of the most precious things I own. :cloud9:

I feel my best gift was donations to giving trees in my name. My BIL knows if I could "save" all children I would. He shopped for 2 little boys and 1 teenage girl. I was so happy to see that he did that for me.

Mine was from my son-in-law.. The photo printer for my digital camera - with a beautiful card with a handwritten personal message talking about how much he admired my strength over the past year, the good examples I have portrayed for his wife and my granddaughter in dealing with life's hard knocks, and how happy he is that I'm living here with them.. :cloud9:

Just the card alone would have been the best possible gift ever.. :flower:

My Swarovski crystal Mickey earrings - a friend and I saw them one day, and she said how perfect they'd be for me to wear when my son has his band trip and marches down Main Street. :)

My DH got me the one thing I really wanted this year. An iPod. I can only walk for exercise and I find it extremely boring. This will make it easier for me to spend my half hour each day.
