What present "meant the most" to you?

Song Of the South on DVD was the gift that meant the most to me. Finally saw this movie!

Mine was from my DH. A couple of months ago we went to an antique shop and I saw a beautiful old apple ladder that I loved. Don't know when he went back and got it but it was under the tree Sunday morning. He had it hidden in my DS's room all this time. I didn't even realize he noticed I liked it.
I guess he really does pay attention!

Mine is the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory dvd from my 12 year old. He spent his own money and picked it out himself, remembering how badly I wanted it. He really pays attention! :)

My house was brocken into while I was at WDW in August. My Fiancee replace a pair of diamond earrings and A necklace that had been stolen. How sweet!!
But I have to say, my favoite wasn't actually a Christmas gift...... my mom gave me my great grandmother's baby ring. and her name is inscribed in it. Gosh, my grandmother was born in 1906 so, do the math the ring is quite old. I just love it! Now I have to go and find out what year she was born. It's around here somewhere.

My husband and I were married at an outdoor wedding site near the water. For our one year anniversary, my aunt who paints sent a beautiful painting of where we got married. The painting shows the exact spot we took our vows and everything that was happening at that time. It has been the most precious gift I have ever received.

My best gift was the hug I got from someone who I had done something for earlier this year. When we actually met for the first time last week, he enveloped me in this huge bear hug. Just feeling so appreciated was better than any material gift could have been.

My Dad and brother started talking again on Christmas and a young gentleman in my Sunday School class went forward to accept Christ on Christmas, who could as for more :sunny:

Wow, how wonderful!!!!! Some things are truly priceless, and those are two great examples.

All of these posts have truly touched my heart ~ thanks so much everyone for sharing with us!!!!

The gift that meant to the most to us is the personalized calendar DD made at Kinkos. Each month has a special photo from the past, and all of them brought tears to our eyes. So thoughtful, unique and very special.

This is easy. My younger sister had two pictures restored for me, my mom and my older sister. One is of my mom and three of us when I was about 5. The other is of my dad (who has passed on) and my younger sister when I was about 6. It meant so much to me.

I get the Allears newsletter every week. I've been occasionally forwarding it to my husband who likes to read Disney trivia. We weren't going to buy each other "big" gifts this year. He took some ideas from the newsletter and bought me Lou Mongello's WDW Trivia book and also the calendar with aerial pictures of WDW and DL. How thoughtful!

:goodvibes
