Well they ended up firing the guy that was the lead... They demoted him first, promoted me, and then a week later fired him. Now I am doing the work of 3.5 people all by myself... I am really not liking my job at the moment.

That sounds like a company management problem.

I'm so sorry to hear it Brandi! I was hoping for the best for you.....

Meanwhile, as an hourly employee I am working for 1/2 the pay earned by the permanent employee who held this job before me....(and they let go because she never followed through on any assigned task.) So far they love me but show no sign of ever giving me a perm job.

Oh yes there is a strong chance....I have been lucky to get on at work lately but that will end soon. And I have tons of shopping to do, presents to wrap, tree to put up and so on....but I am stuck here at home today due to the 5 inches of snow we are receiving.
