Hi, I've always used a Dining Plan when stying on property with a package on previous trips. It was just my DH and I and we used it to our advantage (pre 2005 when you could do shows and get merchandise on MYW plan.) Anyway, next trip will be with our twins, 1 somewhat picky, 1 not. DH and I dined TS in the past including Signature restaurants and Chef Mickey's Bkfst, CRT Bkfst, Akershus Bkfst, and HDD. Will definitely be doing character meals some Signature, TS, and CS. Will probbably have drinks/snacks/ bkfst in room some days. Hopefully we will be doing Club level at Poly for part of stay. Planning on being in the world 10-14 days. What would you recommend? :confused3

If you plan alot of days with 2 TS, then I would say the deluxe however I think 10-14 on the deluxe will be way too much food. Since you are staying Club level, I would probably pick DDP if I was in your situation. If you decided to do Deluxe, I would do a split stay and only have the deluxe for a few days. We did it for 5 nights last May with my 4yo triplets and although we enjoyed it and we will doing it again, my girls were stuffed and at some meals we ended up splitting 1 meals between the 3 of them or it would be a enormous waste of food. I wouldn't to the Quick service plan as I can't imagine eating so many days fast food twice a day. I think your best bet would be DDP or out of pocket. I bet your twins will be able to share many meals

If I was staying Club level, I'd personally go with paying OOP. Because there is no way you'd get full use out of a plan, *and* a dining plan.
Both the DDP and DxDP come with 2 desserts per day, plus 1-2 snacks. Throw on top of that, a dessert selection at the Club every night, snacks through out the day at the club, breakfast at the club... There would be a lot of waste.
2012 summer price for the DDP is $53.50... I can easily eat 2 TS meals per day for under $50 (which only includes 1 TS meal), if I'm skipping dessert.

Your twins are 6... If you plan on doing multiple character *dinners* -- The DDP is a pretty good cost-saver on kids pricing. Thus, if I'm doing a lot of the character dinners, I'd consider the DDP. But again, it will lead to a lot of waste.. of either the club level or the restaurant offerings.

For time not staying in the club, I'd say either the DxDP for going oop. Signature restaurants are a poor deal under the DDP, but a good deal under the DxDP. And you really need to want 1 CS lunch/dinner per day, or else the DDP simply won't work. If you are going to eat primarily TS, the deluxe makes sense. If you want maximum flexibility, OOP is more flexible... and often cheaper, than any dining plan. After all... for $53.50.... I can get 1 snack, 1 CS, and 1 TS meal..... under the dining plan. or for the same $53.50.... I could price out a moderate TS breakfast, lunch and dinner.
