What perk would you want to see added?

And to expand on that...extend a Magic Beyond ticket discount to people staying in the same room, or "traveling with" if multiple rooms, whether or not your friends are related/living in your household.
Yes, that restriction is a bit frustrating, especially given how common it is for DVC members to have APs, why the random discounted ticket offer that ONLY works on household?

I think there are more owners who don’t do APs and while this is trip dependent on whether it is valuable, it would definitely benefit my sons household if they were doing Disney this summer again.

However, it would be nice to see it at least apply to any household of the owners of contracts so I could buy for my DD and her fiance as a member vs her having to join too.

It's still a very specific group to say non-AP AND live in same house and call it a benefit so special you must pay to get it. Our main travelers have AP, so when we take people they might only go once/year and need a ticket. But only so many people live in my house.

I suspect that one of the long-term design factors of DVC from its very beginning was the sale of those tickets at full face value. They knew when they began selling DVC many years ago, that many, many guests would be brought to the table that may otherwise never come, and that those guests would be a captive audience at someone else's expense and that they (Disney) would be the beneficiaries of this travel.

The many Disney business entities that form the parks may not always seem to work together from where we sit, but they do, by their very design; feed and benefit one-another.

There's no incentive to give a man a fish if he already has a pole and you know he's going fishing regardless. Just keep the man that gave him the pole happy so they both continue to buy the bait from you. ;)

NOOOO DVC loves and cherishes and cares for us all and wants us to have great deals all the time... even when it makes no sense.

I'm surprised that in this thread nobody has mentioned getting rid of park reservations yet, although maybe that's not really a "perk," as much as a punishment for annual passholders. It makes me crazy that even though we stay on site with our DVC points we have to make park reservations. This would be the perk I would want.

4 free movie tickets at the AMC Disney Springs once per year (maybe as part of MMB). Of maybe 4 free tickets per each 150 (direct?) points an owner has, which can drive up points sales.

They can do it in such a way that excludes new releases in the first two weekends and certain times of day when theaters tend to sell out. That way, the fill up seats that likely would have stayed empty and also drive traffic to the shopping and restaurants at Disney Springs (and since those customers with free movie tickets are maybe more likely to buy overpriced popcorn and drinks at the concession stand, they'd probably get the tickets from AMC at a great deal)

I agree to a point, but then again I book dining and Lightning Lanes in advance, so you kind pick a park anyway, it's just an extra step.

I want to change my answer to this. It really irritates me that passholders that stay on-site, especially DVC owners who have invested in Disney, have to have a park reservation and no one else does. I kind of understand passholders that don't have a resort reservation needing a park reservation to try to keep the locals out when it's really busy, but I think that having the resort reservation should exempt you from having to have park reservations.

We go multiple times per year and have been making less and less dining reservations and rarely shell out for LLs anymore. The one time I did make LLs this past October for a a larger group, I literally forgot to make park reservations for me and DH (we were the only two AP-holders), and all the LLs were giving me times for the afternoon until I finally figured out why! Ugh...I know that was my fault but it's complicated enough planning for WDW, making park reservations just adds one more annoying step.

If we were locals or staying off-site, I can maybe understand but when we have a resort reservation it's completely unnecessary.

Same. I'd like to be spontaneous. It makes no sense that I can't visit without a park reservation (before 2pm) when staying at a Disney Resort.

a tier bonus program where you get some perks if you have a lot of direct points

This is one that surprises me it does not exist. DVC could offer almost anything at different point ownership levels and people (looking in the mirror) would scramble to level up their points just for the sake of getting to the next tier. Personally, I would appreciate a discount on the incredi-pass… I buy 6 of them every year and wouldn’t turn away some appreciation.

Yes, but what is more valuable to Disney in the long run, a family that has just enough points for a trip once every other year in a GV, or people that stay in studios/one bedrooms several times per year? I think bringing back resort delivery from the theme parks would have people spending more money overall, I know I don't want to carry stuff around all day.

Lol, they don't know how many times I've looked at stuff, said to myself I'll get it on the way out and either changed my mind or forgot. Even if they set up a retrieval center near park exit they would sell some stuff to me.

Disney seems to be open to adding perks for DVC members (even if some are paid), but the addition of more lounges is a welcome addition for us. I am curious, what are your “realistic” perks that you might want to see added?

For me, I would like to maybe see earlier access to dining reservations. At first I thought DVC members could book at 61 days, but then I thought that may break the system for others and may create places where you had to be DVC to book a reservation. But what if the system allowed you to book 1 reservation at 61 days out? It would allow you to get that must have restaurant and not break the system for everyone else.
Earlier access to LL’s booking.

Yes, when my window opened, the time availability for the the Studios was horrible, so I didn't purchase it, and we still got on most every thimg any way. So they lost a LL sale that day.
