What perfume do you wear?

I was thinking of asking DH for new perfume for Christmas. He got me Mariah Carey's Luscious Pink year before last and I really liked it. The problem is that I have trouble finding things I like and things that are different. For instance, I went shopping this weeknd and stopped at the fragrance counter. I sampled (on a card) Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue, Juicy Couture something (Viva something something...?), and Marc Jacobs Daisy. The DG one I liked but then....I realized it kind of reminded me of the Mariah Carey one. It isn't exactly the same but it has some of the same notes or something. I also liked Marc Jacobs but, again, it reminded me of another perfume I just don't remember what! LOL

I have had this happen with several perfumes in the last year. I try them, think WOW that smells good, and then realize that it smells very similar to an older fragrance. I'm trying to not be picky but I don't really want a bunch of perfumes that smell alike or even similar. I'm going to try SJP's Lovely and Jessica Simpson's Fancy this weekend. I'm hoping they go with different "notes" from what I have already.

I have worn Design (meh), Liz Claiborne (a classic but I wore it for YEARS and kind of burned out on it), and Juicy Couture (nice but I found it overwhelming plus several people at work wore it.) I also have small bottles of Amazing Grace and Inner Grace by Philosophy. I really like to use them here and there to break up the cycle. Anyway, I just wondered what other women wore and if they love it or just tolerate it because they haven't found something better?

I LOVE Estee Lauder Pleasures Delight! Not too overpowering. It's my favorite!

most perfumes clog my sinuses and give me excruciating headaches. i usually just wear bath & body works warm vanilla sugar body lotion.

I've never worn perfume but I recently fell in love with Play for her by Givenchy. It's a bit pricey so I don't have any (yet). I'm hoping to find something similar but a little cheaper.

I love, love, love Euphoria by Calvin Klein. Been using that for the past 3 years and get compliments daily from it!!
Tresor also has a beautiful smell. I suggest going to a perfume store and just going through them. But remember they can smell different on your body!

Red Door been out a long time but I still like it I have a few others Revealed Red Door i think it is an Provocative, Passion an a couple of others but I like the Red Door the best an I get the most compliments from friends when I wear the Red Door.

I think all mine are Elizabeth Taylor a bit pricey but I usually get a good deal.....I ended up getting a box with like 5 little bottles in it not being sure which fragrance I wanted which has given me different scents to try out an not smell exactly the same every day yet I've been able to use it all up in 2 yrs....NOT good to try to keep smelly stuff much longer than 2 yrs

OHHHHH an I got my box of little bottles a day or 2 after Christmas when the perfumes was all half price too

My current fave is Refuge by Charlotte Russe. Smells so good and it's only $11/BOTTLE!

Britney Spears - Fantasy
DKNY - Be Delicious (smells like apples, have both the red and green)
Ralph Lauren - Hot

I love Burberry Brit. It smells soo good. My second favorite is Daisy by Mark Jacobs

Estee Lauder's Beyond Paradise is my current favorite. Every Christmas my husband gets me a huge basket filled with perfume, lotion, etc. The perfume is different every year so I'll have a new favorite on December 25th.

This! Ask him for the Sephora sampler, but warn him that they sell out quick! They have a male and a female version and both sell out super fast, but I have gotten them for everyone in my family at some point and they love using the samples to find what is perfect for them.

As for me, I wear Philosophy's Amazing Grace and have always received many compliments. It's clean yet fragrant and I love their shampoo and body care products. You can get them cheapest from QVC.

Escale aux Marquises by Dior.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the scent, but it doesn't last very long on me.

Bvlgari Omnia Crystalline :lovestruc

Actually fell in love with this at the store in Epcot's Italy
(but came home and bought it for much less ;))

It is light, soft, and wonderful!!

OMG, that does smell so good, doesn't it!!!

I am 'sensitive' too
And, to be honest, many fragrances are just olfactory assault, or chemical warfare. :rotfl2:

I can wear Insolence by Guerlain... it is DIVINE!!!!
Love, love, love it...
Have to order it now, as I can't find it at the limited perfume counters here where I live.

Here we are on a Disney site and no one's said Laila yet, so I will.

I bought a bottle of Laila Pink in Norway at Epcot this summer, and it is heavenly. :cloud9: Since I probably won't be back to Florida when I need more, I'll probably order it on-line. Nordstrom sells regular Laila, but not the Pink version which I prefer since it lasts longer.
