The more and more my familiy and I go the faster we have found to zip through and be done at the parks, I picked 50%. This will most likley change as my 2 yr olds get older but at this rate I can fast pass myself through almost any park in about 3-4 hours than return back for parades and fireworks. Thats seeing just the attractions that we enjoy the most of course not every single thing there is to see. I think at this rate though I could navigate mgm mk and mgm blindfolded..animal kingdom not so much yet :yay:

Good Morning,

From the poll it would seem that 50-75% of the time, the majority are at the parks.

We put 50% because we like to spend alittle time around the park pool and drive out to see some of the real Florida.

I chose 62% because some days I stay at the park longer than others.

I tend to let the kids sleep in on Vacation, We generally get going around 11am and maybe Go to the Pool and eat lunch, arriving at the parks anywhere from 1 o'clock to 5pm, depending on park hours that day.

Even though I have young children we like the evenings at the park far more than the mornings.

I put 50% because it is mixed. We go every year for the Food & Wine Fest and for that trip we are in Epcot 100%. Between the booths and the classes we spend evry possible minute over there, finding a place to sit with some supper in time to watch Illuminations.

When DH and I go by ourselves we are likely to not go in the parks at all, we enjoy a restful vacation usually at OKW.

If we bring extended family we will be in the parks quite a bit, but not all day as the commando thing is just too wearing for a full day.

Overall, it's probably 25%-37.5% of my "vacation time" , with the balance spent at the resort, at DTD, at another resort having dinner, sitting by the pool, getting some exercise, etc. We have APs, and tend to visit one park every day. Since we usually stay at the BWV, I might also visit Epcot for lunch or dinner on a day when I've spent some time at one of the other parks. I usually spend 2 to 3 hours in one of the parks each day. For example, out last trip was six nights at BWV. I visited parks on the five full days (MK, AK, MGM, Epcot, MK), staying for 2 to 3 hours at each park. This is usually enough time for me to do the things I want to do. On my first MK day, I met DW at Epcot for another hour or so, and we returned to Epcot for dinner that evening.

We still go into the parks everyday...I'm trying to cut back, but I just can't.
We're old (53) and have no kids with us, but we get to the parks around 10 - 11 and stay till the parks close. Maybe someday we'll be able to stay away and relax more, but it won't be very soon.

When we go on our cruise...Then we'll relax!!

about 50% and sometimes that is because of the dining...we really enjoy a nice TS meal...and that can really eat up a lot of time traveling.

We live in Florida and have a pool in our backyard. :sunny: So, we don't go to Disney to sun or swim, we go for the parks. ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo pooh: :eeyore: We get to the parks before opening, leave for a midday nap, and return every night until closing...every single day of our "vacation." I put us down for 100%. And we love every minute of it!!! :tink: :tink: :tink:

I voted 75% because I love spending time in the parks.

I based my vote on our most recent trip, which was during President's Week, and chose 25%. We really only spent a few hours each day in the parks, and if I hadn't gone and bought 7 day expiring passes, we wouldn't even have gone every day. We are a family of 4 with 2 teen boys, who have gone each year since our first trip in 2000. We still enjoy it very much, but definitely vacation at a slower pace these days. It is also such a nice feeling to know that whatever we don't get to this trip, well, there's always next time!

I voted 50% since 50% of "us" go to the parks more than the other 50%.
Dh loves to golf, he golfs, I park and then we do stuff together later in the day. Sometimes its parks, sometimes not.
No when we take family in Nov. it will increase. When we were there in Feb. it was one day of three (that was what park passes we already had in hand and I didn't want to spend the $$ to get more).
So the % would go up or down depending on the "purpose" of the trip.

I voted 12.5% but it really is more like 5%. Last year, spendning all together 24 days in a DVC property we went tot he park 2 times only because MIL was with us. When we went back for 16 days in the summer with just us we did not go to the parks once!!

This year again, we plan to hang at the pool and enjoy!!!
