What parks food do you miss?

I miss the Mickey shaped ice cream bar, it had a vanilla face and chocolate ears.

I second the Mickey ice cream bar.

The DDP has ruined Captain Jack's menu as well. I miss when it was a true oyster bar, now the menu has changed to have something to appeal to the masses, has to be the only oyster bar in Florida to have penne pasta on the menu.

I never tried Figaro Fries, but I expect they're exactly the kind of junk food I would have loved. I miss the Strawberry Swirl at Enchanted Grove.

Right when I read this thread topic, the first thing I thought of was Figaro fries :sad1:

I miss the Kringla's chocolate ball, the Garden Grille's cheese bread, and the steak sandwiches from Canada. While not something to be eaten straight, I miss the three dimensional standing Mickey butter sculpture at the Coral Reef.

Beaver Tails in Canada :sad1:

Chocolate Balls in Norway's CS :sad1:

Chateaubriand for 2 at the YSH :sad1:

I totally forgot about those fruit drinks. I remember them having one shaped like grapes (purple), my favorite.

I also miss the corn on the cob at Blizzard Beach. Last time I had it was 2003 and haven't seen it since then.

I also miss the fruity drinks served in fruit-shaped containers in the 1970's! Other than water fountains, there wasn't much offered for drinks in the MK, and those beauties were truly refreshing!

Also miss the Top of the World lounge at the Contemporary. My parents took us there when it was more of a nightclub scene and spoiled us with "shirley temples."

I hadn't thought about those fruit drinks in forever! After my first trip in 1976, I came home with an orange one and a grape one! We had those forever! I wonder what ever happened to them??

I miss that french toast loaf!! Am still hoping they bring it back!

I miss the cinnamon rolls from when Tusker house was counter service---they were much better than the Main st bakery rolls and better than what Kusafiri is serving now. They still have them at tusker house --BUt I am SO OVER doing a TS meal there...

Sticky Mickeys from the Concourse Steakhouse in the Contemporary (they supposedly exist at The Wave but aren't the same).

Clam chowder in a bread bowl at Columbia Harbour House.

Lol, I think I miss most the fruit shaped drinks in MK, also. (Think 1970's) I remember the orange and grape drinks especially and how "devine" the flavors were...probably because we were dehydrated from running around the parks all day and bottled water was not yet an everyday staple...

OMG! I totally forgot about the orange juices until I read that first post! Now I want one so bad  and it's bringing back all those old memories of Disney! You think people sell those plastic orange things on E Bay?

Yum. Cone shaped bread roll filled with bbq chicken or some such. mmm Also miss the original chicken fingers and the original school bread.

RIP fried cheese at Prime Time. And now, their turkey sandwich and their chicken sandwich. They wrecked lunch by going to one all-day menu.

Also really miss pre-princess Akershus.

Dh and I miss the ice cream sandwiches made with big chocolate chip cookies at the ice cream carts.

nycdisneygal, those must have been some yummy cinnamon rolls at Tusker House counter service (never had them) to be better than the cinnamon roll at Main Street Bakery - those are my absolute favorite things to get at MK. I really miss the chicken fingers and my favorite salty snack at Epcot - McDonalds fries  .

my understanding was that figaro fries were french fries with cheese/bacon/lettuce/tomato/ranch dressing. All I did was ask the cashier to add this stuff onto them and she gave it to me

Thought i'd start a thread to reminisce disney parks food that we loved that isn't there anymore. I'll go first - i loved the chicken fingers before they switched to nuggets.

And from way back when i was little the small round orange juices that looked like it was in an orange.

So what food do you miss?
I had forgotten all about those oranges until I read this post I remember taking it home and using when I was a kid. I never got to try Figaro fries either
