Ok - we are visiting the World Monday - Friday, June 4 - 9 - what order should we visit the parks in? According to the guidebooks I hear we should visit: Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Disney MGM and Magic Kingdom last. Any suggestions or reasons to visit in a certain order?

Thanks

Well, first of all, do you have hoppers? Kids? I always find it hard not to go to MK first because I'm always looking forward to walking down Main St. and seeing the Castle! AK doesn't usually take the whole day. This may have changed a little because of Ex. Ev., but we usually go there at opening and leave around 3 or 4.

It's more of a question of what days of the week you will be there, whether or not you want to take advantage of or avoid extra magic hours, etc. There is really no good reason for the order you indicated - any other combination of the four parks works just as well.

Check out touringplans.com for the best days to visit the parks. I also never listen to the books about visiting MK last. You want to try to avoid the crowds as much as possible. I would also suggest that whatever park has evening extended magic hours, that you go to that park the next day. The logic behind that is that that particular park will have fewer crowds the next day. You can check out the park hours right on disney's official site, disney.go.com.

Have a wonderful trip.

When I went last year, we did Epcot, MGM, AK, MGM again, then MK. We had 5 day base tickets (no hopping) and no kids so it was perfect for us. we spent all day at each park, and were able to do MGM twice which was good since I think that park has the most stuff to do. A lot of people recommend doing MK first, but we like to leave it for last.
