Hi Guys

can i just say this board has been soooooooo helpful with planning my families disney trip so thanks!

Please can you look over this schedule and let me know what order to do these attractions in :)

EPCOT SATURDAY 16th DECEMBER 9 – 9.30

Spaceship earth
Living seas with Nemo
Turtle Talk with Crush
Soarin'
Figment
Test track
Mission Space
World Showcase browse
eating at Biergarten Restaurant – Germany time to be decided
Candlelit Processional 5:00, 6:45 and 8:15 p.m ?
IllumiNations 9:30pm

We always do SE when we first enter the park and when we leave, if it is open. There is rarely ever a wait.
After that head over to Soarin and get a fastpass. Do whatever while you wait and after Soarin FP, get another Soarin FP..... its that good.
Don't over plan

FP for Soarin' or Test Track as these both have long waits. :thumbsup2

Definitely get a Fast Pass for Soarin' first thing. If you get in REALLY early, go ahead and ride it. I would then go do Test Track or get a FP if you didn't need one for Soarin'. Crush doesn't start until 10, so I would try to ride Nemo around 9:30 and get in line for Crush when you start to see a line starting to form (just over 100 people get into each show every 18 min. Mission Space could probably wait until later since the FP's don't run out as soon as TT or Soarin' FP's. But, if you're doing the "orange team" spinning version, don't do this after a meal. ;)

SE and Imagination don't tend to have long lines once the main crowd gets through. You could probably get into those without a wait in the afternoon. Check the entertainment schedule on the back of the "times" sheet. It's in a helpful grid format now and you can see when things are happening around the world. I like to time it so I can see at least a few performers.

If you want to do the Norway ride, you should probably go there just after it opens. Also check the entertainment guide for the performances at the Biergarten. The schedule I have has performances scheduled at 1:15, 2:15, 3:15, 4:45, 5:55, 7:00 and 8:05.

I've never been at that time of year, so this is just based on my experience in the last couple of weeks.

Soarin'
Test track
Living seas with Nemo
Turtle Talk with Crush
Mission Space
(Spaceship earth) - or afternoon?
(Figment) - or afternoon?
World Showcase browse
eating at Biergarten Restaurant – Germany time to be decided
Candlelit Processional 5:00, 6:45 and 8:15 p.m ?
IllumiNations 9:00pm?? Isn't it at 9?

Here's what we did:

Straight to Soarin', get FP, ride Soarin'...over to Test Track...then Mission: SPACE...go to the Living Seas...see everything there, do fastpass, and then do Figment. Then ride Spaceship Earth.

I'd try and fit in Living With The Land and Universe of Energy too!

I would agree with Soarin' and TT first. We typically send a runner to get FP's for one of these while the rest of the group heads to the other. That way both of these are knocked out very early in the day and usually the wait time for everything else isn't that bad. Often we will hit a second FP for either Soarin' or TT as we use the first ones.

it appears there does not seem to be any mention of fastpasses for nemo or mission space- is it because they are easier to get on to than soarin or test track?

thanks

It sort of depends on when you go.
We were at Epcot 9/9/06 thru 9/11/06 and TT & Soarin were walk ons. We didn't need FP.
On the other hand, we were at WDW the week before Christmas last year and though all other attractions had nothing more than a 10 minute wait. Soarin was consistently more than an hour. IMHO, Soarin is THE best attraction at WDW.
Regarding MS, people either love it or hate it. And if your like me, riding it once was enough.

Hey! We're going to Epcot on December 16 too! We arrive in Orlando on the 15th around 6:30 p.m. and Epcot will be our first park the following morning. We're planning to do Test Track first. We've been on Soarin' many times at DCA. We plan to do it at some point, but it's not first on our list. We have ADRs for Le Cellier at 5:50 that evening. Maybe we'll run into you! :)

I really recommend trying to get into the first or second Turtle Talk show if possible....after that, they line for TT gets REALLY long! When I went the first TT show was at 10am, we got to the park at 9:15, headed straight for Soarin' got an FP for that and then went back and did TT, 2nd show and even then when we got out of the theatre the line was already getting really long, then we went to Soarin and then headed to Test Track, we went back to Living Seas around 1pm and the line for TT was all the way to the back wall of the room!

Don't worry so much about getting on Spaceship Earth first, it's line moves pretty quickly in my experience. We usually save that for last.

FP Test Track and Ride Mission Space or vice versa.
Soarin gets a long wait so you may want to FP that as well or do it really early.

Figament has always been fast to get on in the times I've been there. Can't comment on Living Seas or Nemo though.

I would say Soarin' first. Otherwise, you're better off fastpassing it. As for Spaceship Earth, my family and I like to go on this in the afternoon.
