"What Not To Wear" - Show is on again May 29

I am assuming that if you clicked on this post, you know what What Not To Wear is. If not, take a look at the link, and then perhaps you will understand how very surprised I was when Stacy & Clinton busted into a meeting I was at in my office on Friday afternoon with a full camera crew, to inform me that my wardrobe was so terrible that I was going to accompany them back to NYC for a makeover and a new batch of clothes - assuming, of course, that I agree to toss anything in my closet they deem awful. After sitting with them and watching the secret footage they had taped of me for 2 weeks, I learned that I would be saying goodbye to most of my closet.
Why am I sharing this adventure of mine with the DIS boards? Well, because according to the show, here are my main offensive items:

this jacket - with the alice purse, and every other disney purse i own (a lot)

since I have been home recovering from surgery, I watch this show ALOT!! Please keep us updated on what you are doing!!! I would love to hear what really goes on!!!

For the record, I think you look great, but it is upsetting to see clothes you own go into the trash can after the 360 mirror!!! I have seen several outfits I own on the show only to end up in the trash can!!

From this picture, you don't look like you need a makeover. Don't take your Disney purses to NY!!

I wonder if they really throw away your clothes. I suppose they let people bring the really bad stuff & not their whole wardrobe. How would they know anyway.

My dh always says that the first thing C & S would toss out are all my "cartoon character shirts"!!! I'd hide those Disney clothes or they are the first to go!!!

admittedly, i do...people have been threatening to put me on this show since college! it was one of my college best friends, who is now my co-worker, who contacted them. i actually work in TV production and long ago was on a similar show myself, so i know that they are indeed real. (that's how they were able to get me - i am around cameras all the time so i never noticed anything unusual)

i have to take them because they already know i have them! but i will fight for the alice one, believe me.
i read somewhere that they actually donate the clothes to charity, which is cool. i'm not too worried - it's just clothes, as long as they don't tattoo me it won't be anything irreversible (i hope!)

I have watched over my shoulder for Clinton and Stacy to come get me!! LOL

I think I am doing better though--because I watch this show so much!

I am not sure about giving up my crocs and birkis. The thought of wearing heels just makes me sick to my stomach!

I was watching Clean Sweep one day and the couple had tons of Disney "stuff" that Peter was trying to convince the husband to get rid of I thought "this guy has to be a Diser"

I also wonder if people really take their entire wardrobe. Sometimes, it seems like way too few clothes to be everything a person owns.
