What Not To Wear At Walt Disney World - Getting ready for the next one -Show on again

Oh by the way if anyone has Comcast On Demand, go to the "Cutting Edge" section, and select "Paranormal TV" and then go to "Horoscopes" to select "Question from a Leo"....you can see me talking to a psychic about how Mixi hates Jack  I think it is only up for a couple days though.

The AC sounds like it was so much fun! I, too, noticed no asthma while we were in Orlando....wonder what it is?

Have a Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! Hmmm that is interesting....maybe breathing in all that pixie dust is good for the lungs!

Oh no! You what?:scared1:

"After that Jack’s friend was wonderful enough to give us a ride back to the Beach Club so that we didn’t have to mess with those s-l-o-w buses again, and we crashed!"

You scared me! At first I thought you meant you had a CAR crash! LOL! I now understand you meant crash as in you were TIRED and "crashed" into bed! LOL! Now don't do that again to us! ;)

Haha! Whoops sorry! I never realized that sentence could be misinterpreted!

Great update! I'm sad my DH and I never made it to AC!

I can't believe it's your last day already!

I am sad we'll never get to go back! Unless Disney takes my advice and moves it to AK, of course.

I can't believe I missed the AC update! Sounds like you had a really good time. Alas, I never made it there. At least I can live vicariously through your trip report. :goodvibes

Yeah it's so disappointing! Whatever they replace Pleasure Island with better be AMAZING to make up for the loss of AC.

I never made it to the Adventurer's Club and it is one of the few things I really regret. I think I would have loved it there. Sounds like you guys had a good time.

I was really lucky that our trip landed a mere month before it shut down. Usually our trips are so short there just isn't time to go to PI or the water parks. I'm glad that we are able to take longer ones now!

What a fun night and you got to hang out with a Crystal. :thumbsup2

It was great to meet Crystal after reading her reports for years! I hope she is still down there next time I go, whenever that is.

I must say that I am enjoying reading your TR! I even went back and found your episode of WNTW and watched it online. It was GREAT!! I love all the pictures you've taken. You and Jack are both so cute.

Can't wait to read more but sorry that I didn't catch this TR until almost the end. popcorn::

Thank you so much, and hi!

Just chiming in to say how much I'm enjoying your TR - have a happy new year!

Thanks and a haaaaaaaaappy new year to you too! :wizard:

we went to the AC on that trip too and i'm bummed that it's no longer around. i did hear a rumor that disney is going to be opening a new theme park called disney's night kingdom where you would enter the park through an AC-like club. sounds really cool but it's also really expensive. and it's just in the planning stages right now anyway.

I heard that too - I hope that AC ends up there, or somewhere at least. What are they going to do with all the cool stuff that was in the club?? I have to admit I read about the supposed Night Kingdom and didn't think it sounded that exciting, but I would definitely check it out at least once!

What a great trip report. I really enjoyed it!! I think it was wonderful that you were able to take this trip with two friends and have two different vacations.

I get just like you when it is time to leave. I become so sad and start wondering when we will be able to return again. This year my oldest daughter wants us to do a cruise so she can celebrate her 13th birthday in Mexico. I would rather go to Disney World but I guess I have to give in.

Then to make things worst, my other daughter wants to celebrate her 10th birthday in 2010 in NYC so it looks like we won't be back to Disney World until at least 2011. It makes me so sad. I hope something happens that allows us to get back to Disney World sooner than that. We will have to see.

Anyway, thanks for taking us all along on your trip. It was really nice to read about all your adventures. I really enjoyed it so much. :goodvibes

isn't your last day at disney world always such a total bummer???? i wish we could skip those!

i loved your TR and i'm so happy i actually got to meet you in real life! maybe someday we'll be back at WDW at the same time again and see each other - only we have to remember to take a picture this time!

i don't know if you went through disney or bought DVC points to stay at the beach club, but i just wanted to recommend the latter to you. we bought DVC points to stay at SSR last year and i can't tell you exactly how much we paid (at the risk of revealing what the DVC member charged me) but basically it was less than half of what i would've paid if i went through disney to stay there. we are (hopefully) doing that again in december 2010 and staying at VWL. hopefully one day we will be DVC members ourselves, but right now we have too much debt to incur more. so until then i'm happy to buy points from real DVC members!

well, luckily it's still very early in the planning stages because when i first heard about it, the article said something about how it would be very hard to get tickets because they were only letting in a limited number of people every day and that it was going to be really expensive to get in. so i'm hoping they tweak that a little bit because, a, i don't want to have to WANT for tickets to a themepark and, b, i don't want to pay more than i pay already to go there!

Thank you! I can't believe it, little girls who would rather go to NYC and Mexico than DISNEYWORLD? I guess that is to be expected when you are traveling with others - with my last boyfriend, he offered to go with me to WDW once but I knew that it would not be a regular event. I am lucky that Jack totally does not care where we go on vacation!
Thanks so much for reading and I hope you get back to WDW soon!

Oh I totally keep forgetting about the option of renting points! I have to figure out how that works. Crystal used to do that a lot too, I hear a lot of good things about booking accomodations that way. It would be phenomenal to stay in the BC Villas!

I know. They are just crazy!!! I would take Disney World any day of the week.

You are very lucky to have Jack. ;)

thanks for a great read, it was tons of fun and i still havent caught your what not to wear episode even with all the marathons they have been having , hopefully i will see it sooon. take care hopefully you will have another trip to write about soon

a Mickey chocolate head stuffed with vanilla ice cream!

:rotfl:
This just made me laugh because I always think of it as mickey ice cream dipped in chocolate . Remember that old commercial "you got your peanut butter in my chocolate" "Well you got your chocolate in my peanut butter"

And that concludes random thought theater for the night!

I hate the last day! :sad1: And I'm so sorry that your trip is over since I've enjoyed it so much. I totally agree w/ you that a cocktail from Hurricane Hanna's plus Beach Club view is :cloud9: I hope that you get a chance to return!!!

Thanks for such a great trip report!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Yes, you must always get pictures of Dis meets - planned and accidental ones!

Thanks for taking us on this trip. We'll be ready to go back with you to Beach Club or Ft. Wilderness or wherever it is you want to go in the fall! ;)

Have you got the license plate on your car now?

Enjoy fixing your scrapbook and re-living all the fun!

Aww, it's over? Say it isn't so! Great trip report. It was simply delightful!

Great trip report! You should post your scrapbook pages. I was hanging out over there on the scrapping board in Sept. and Oct. while I scrapped (for the first time) our 2007 trip and it was really fun. The pics I took this last trip weren't nearly as good and I actually tried harder to take more. I did have enough to make a snapfish book that was pretty neat.

Who could ever get tired of WDW? :)

I'm so sad your TR is over, Kelly! Thanks for the great read!!! :goodvibes I'll keep my fingers crossed that you'll be planning another trip real soon! ;)

Hon, I really enjoyed reading your trip report, so I'm sad to see it come to a close!

Might I recommend that you start planning that trip for next fall? Pretty please? ;)

Don't let Stacy see the picture of you at Epcot.:rotfl:

I am sad on my last day at WDW. But my trips are so short; sometimes only one/two park days so I can't let it bother me. I can only imagine a week or 10 day trip to WDW. That would be pure torture to my DH. He can't stand how much running around I do when we go to WDW.:rotfl2: Unfortunately my Dsis, who travels to WDW with me most frequently, had very limited funds. We would have so much fun being there for a week, but we would have to win the lottery to go that long.:lmao:
