My DH and I will be visiting WDW for three days prior to leaving on our first cruise. I have not been to WDW in 15 years and my DH has not been since he was a child. We only have 3 days and 4 parks, so what would you definately want to ride or see!! Thanks for any input!!!!!

PS. I already have priority seating for Garden Grill, Sci-Fi Dine In, and Rainforest Cafe!!!

Since AK is my favorite, I would say do not miss The Festival of the Lion King. It is an awesome show that will really energize you.

Fantasmic at Disney Studios
If you like thrills: Rock n Roll Rollercoaster and Tower of Terror

Be sure to spend some time in each country in World Showcase
(Epcot) Some of the countries have great films and shows.

Kilamanjari Safari is a not to miss ride at AKL.

MK- everything is magical!

MK - Splash Mountain

AK - Kali River Rapids and It's Tough To Be a Bug

Epcot - Test Track

MGM - TOT; RNRR; Great Movie Ride

AK:
kilamenjaro safari
festival of the Lion King

MGM Studios:
rock n' rollercoaster
tower of terror
fantasmic(must see)

EPCOT:
world showcase

Magic Kingdom:
space mountain
slash mountain
big thunder mountain RR
haunted mansion
it's a small world
spectro magic parade
tinker bell's flight

Miscellaneous:
ride the monorail through the contemporary resort

For me the most magical part was the kiss goodnight (castle changing colors just before the fireworks) and the firworks at MK. I litterally stood there with tears running down my face. It was truly breathtaking.

I also LOVED Fantasmic at MGM and the Little Mermaid show.

I loved all of the 3D shows too. (Muppet Vision, Honey I shrunk the audience, and It's tough to be a bug)

and since it turned out to be our very first ride, I suggest It's a small world. Even though that song gets stuck in your head for the rest of the trip, there is something about it that just says Disney.

No matter what you go with, you are bound to have a great time. Have a great trip!!!

MK is our favorite park so I would have a hard time telling you what not to miss there. :D If Spectromagic is running when you are at MK, be sure not to miss it. I love that parade. It is so special at night.

At AK I would definitely see Festival of the Lion King. It is a wonderful show! Try to work in time for It's Tough to be a Bug. I really like it altough my girls don't. :(

At Epcot we enjoy walking around World Showcase and just soaking in the magic. Test Track in Future World is certainly not to be missed. Illuminations is fabulous and such a wonderful way to end your evening at Epcot.

We don't care for MGM very much so I can't offer too much advice. However, our favorite show hands down in all of Disney is Fantasmic. You have to work in time for this show. It is just the best!

Have a great time!!

Buzz Lightyear is lots of fun & don't miss Test Track. If you go to MGM, eat at 50's Prime Time Cafe, it's a hoot!;)

Magic Kingdom - Space Mountain, Carousel of Progress(If Open), Splash Mountain, Haunted Mansion

MGM - Fantasmic (If you see anything, see this)

EPCOT - Spaceship Earth, Journey Into Imagination, Maelstrom

Please see Spaceship Earth - I know it's an older ride but it is fantastic! It will be changeing into something else in the next few years, so be sure to see it now.

Enjoy your cruise!

Thanks you all!!! This is great! Please keep the suggestions coming!!!!!!!!!!!

We agree with all of the above, and would add:

MK:
Pirates of the Caribbean (it's a classic for a reason!)

EPCOT:
Body Wars
Cranium Command (it's hysterical)
Don't miss ILLUMINATIONS! (start looking for a spot no later than 20 mins. prior to the start)

MGM:
Star Tours
Don't miss FANTASMIC!

AK:
Dinosaur

If you can squeeze them in, be sure to explore some of the resort hotels, they are truly unique. It doesn't need to take a whole lot of time. From MK, you can take the monorail to 3 of the best- Grand Floridian, Contemporary and Polynesian. From Epcot, you can go through the International Gateway and it's a short walk to the wonderful Epcot resort area- including the Boardwalk, Yacht and Beach Club, Swan and Dolphin.

And, if you're still up for more, visit Downtown Disney, including Pleasure Island (be sure to go the Adventurers Club; one of our favorite spots in WDW!)

Have a great time! You won't BELIEVE how much WDW has changed since you were there!!

There's a lot of excellent suggestions here. As an Epcot fanatic, I have to say tour the countries and make sure to catch Illuminations.

But one thing I've not seen here is "One Man's Dream" in Disney Studios (we have to stop calling it MGM, right?). This is sort of a history of Walt Disney, the man. There's an excellent film that's worth sitting through once. But the "pre show" is the best part. Artifacts and displays explain to you the evolution of the Disney family of theme parks. Included are scale models of many of the parks, including most of the castles (WDW, Disney Tokyo, etc). And there are some incredible pieces on loan, such as the desk Walt used to do many of his early cartoons. Great stuff. Probably not a "kid thing."

In MK, Splash Mountain and Buzz Lightyear. All of AK, especially Kilimanjaro Safari. Epcot-WS and especially Illuminations. Studios-15 years ago was 1988? If you haven't seen it, or even if you were there right after it opened (5/89, I think), go just to see how it's changed. Also, see the Boardwalk and all the new hotels in that area.

Illuminations at Epcot is great!

Visit the countries at World Showcase - and have a Beavertail in Canada!

Test Track!

Try Rock N Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror at MGM - and my DH likes the Indiana Jones show, so if you have time, try it. The Great Movie ride is also neat.

MK - Splash Mountain and Buzz are alot of fun. I am a Pooh fan, so I say the Pooh ride is a must for me, but you wouldn't HAVE to see it.

AK - Kilamanjaro Safari, Kali River Rapids and Dinosaur.

You will have a great time no matter what attractions you see!
