What Not to Miss @ BWI

I'm staying at WL for my upcoming trip, but I will be doing some resort touring and am very excited to check out the Boardwalk Inn. Does anyone have any suggestions about what to see and do, both on the actual Boardwalk and at the hotel?

It's a fantastic resort for people watching and relaxing - grab one of the whicker rocking chairs on the back porch overlooking the Boardwalk and just chill

If you can, go in the evening ... maybe for dinner at one of the restaurants. The place really comes alive at night, with music and novelty acts. You will really feel like you are "down shore."

The hotel is gorgeous -- I like to think of it as the Grand Floridian in beach clothes. The lobby and public areas are great for wandering around and people-watching. And if you can, check out one area a lot of people miss: as you enter the lobby, hang a right and continue all the way to the end of the all. Step outside and you'll see wonderful little townhomes surrounding a private garden and quiet pool. It's lovely.

The major pool is fun, too -- styled to resemble a roller coaster, with a slide that exits through a clown's mouth (yes, that does creep out some people).
