I was wondering what nonbreakfast Character Meal would everyone recomend?
I would like to go to just one this trip, but I have never been to any before.
My girls are 9yrs, 10yrs(soon to be 11), and 13.
Are the dinners really worth the extra cost or is lunch just as good?
18.00 sounds alot better then 22.00 per person, but if the offerings alot better then I would consider it.
TIA
Betsy

Im bumping this back to the top.
I would really like your opinions. I just cant decide.....
I was thinking about the crystal Palace, but I am concerned that it might be for younger children because of pooh. The food sounds like it would be good though.

I don't think Crystal palace is too childish.

For MK Liberty Tree Tavern is a good dinner.

I think it depends on what characters the kids like.

Thanks.
Do you think there is a big differance between the dinners and the lunches( what is offered)?

LTT at the MK is our favorite and a great choice for your age kids. They only have the character meal at dinner. It is an all you can eat family style meal with turkey, ham (more like pork chops) beef and all the sides. The mashed potatos are awsome. Desert is apple cobbler with ice cream. The characters are Mickey, Minnie, Chip, Dale and either Goofy or Pluto. It is an awsome dinner.

you definetly have to try chef mickey's in the contemporary resort....be sure to make PS because its popular.....and SO MUCH FUN! im 17 years old and i'll still love it when im 40!! all the main characters and just an all out fun atmosphere

We loved Grand Floridian Cafe. It was really a lovely setting and blissfully quiet during the week (we were there in October). Food was excellent as was the service. A nice change from the commotion in the parks.

Betsy,

When we were there in October we (myself-21, DH-21, my mom and my little brother-15 and sister- 13) tried the Garden Grill for lunch and it was so so so good! The restaurant rotates slowly so we all liked that and the characters-Pluto, Chip and Dale, Goofy and Mickey were fun for our group! I believe the menu for lunch was the same for dinner just a bit cheaper and we all loved it!

Thanks to all for the opinions,
I still dont know ....The girls are leaning twords the crystal palace,....or the Garden Grill. The Garden Grill is less expensive, so my DH would pick that one , but I will let the girls pick......
This is a trip that is for there Birthdays. They all have one that is either just before we go or just after, (within two weeks) So I would like it to be alittle more magical then there other visit to WDW . That was four yrs. ago. The youngest doesnt even remember much of the first trip.
Anyway I am trying to plan a few special moments for them all.
I know about the birthday buttons, but seeing as it will not really be there birthdays when we are there, I think it would look like we were lying to get special attention for them. So I am planning to get a lt. cake in the room on our resort day to celebrate all of there birthdays.
