I also wouldn't hold my breath waiting for Switzerland. Fondue isn't enough to support an entire restaurant, and the "Alps/Heidi/William Tell" theme is a little too thin to build a whole attraction around.

I would prefer India or Brazil as well. However, the Melting Pot is a very expensive chain restaurant in the east and its only fondue. Its great too.

There are Melting Pot restaurants from coast to coast in 38 states, not just the east. Their menu (which yes, I would describe as pricey albeit not quite getting into the truly expensive range) is heavily "americanized" and a lot more gimmicky than real Swiss fondue. I lived in Switzerland for 8 years, and trust me, dinner with a family in an alpine Swiss village doesn't consist of dipping lobster into "Caribbean seasoned bouillon" with a side of "California Salad," while enjoying a "Raspberry Martini." :rolleyes:

I agree with you on all counts. My point is merely that fondue could work. Especially when you consider many of the Epcot restaurants tend to be americanized anyway.

Here are my recommendations, in no particular order:

Iceland: a destination growing in popularity, diverse geographically, and would offer a look at a colder part of the world;
Australia: a natural include, especially with all the ties to Disney already with shows such as the Wiggles;
Costa Rica: another popular place to travel to with a lot of diversity geographically, plus it would "hit" Central America; and
Brazil: with nothing from South America, it would be the most natural to fill that slot.
Russia: another place of interest and mystery for most Americans.
