Rather than a pre-paid meal plan, I'd be thrilled (since we usually spent 15 to 20 nights per year) to be able to purchase the DDE card, or have a set 15% to 20% Dining Discount at all table service restaurants. Pre-paid plans, while convenient, generally save little or no miney, unless you always eat big meals(appetizer, entree and dessert)
We use the 20% lunch discount at Chefs, and I hope it continues next year.
EDIT: I just went through our room charges, and added up our meal bills (including tips). We ate breakfast in our room 4 mornings/at Olivia's 5 mornings. For the 9 nights we were there, we had a full service meal daily (sometimes 2), or a full service and counter meal. We ate what we wanted, and the meal plan for those 9 nights would have been about $5 MORE per day. I don't see how a counter breakfast, 1 full meal, and a "snack" would save any $$$ on the plan. It would be a convenience you "pay for". That is assuming that they would have charged $35 per adult (2) for 9 days. Now if they also charged for both arrival AND departure days (10 days), we would have lost $112.86 eating on the plan during our trip.
