With all the stuff going on I thought I would let you know what MVMCP means to me. I can say it best by telling you about my first MVMCP. I went during one of my first solo trips to WDW as a single dad with both DS's in college. It was my first trip during the holiday season. I went the week after Thanksgiving. The first week of Dec. I was in my early 40's. I was looking forward to see all the Christmas decorations and shows. Then i found out the neat parade and shows I saw on tv at Christmas were not being done, bummer. When I go there and checked in at the All Stars, I was given the normal stuff and it was telling me about MVMCP. I went to guest services and they were telling me about it. Inside I was going I get to see the parade and shows?!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I went to the first one on Thurs. night. They were still selling tickets to it that night. The Fri, Sat and Sun ones were sold out. Well being the Disney nut I am, I got at the gate 30 minutes before opening and I was not the first. LOL The CM's at the gates were in the hats and scarves. Of course everyone waiting was in a great mood so the CM's got in even a better mood. I had gotten the schedule earlier in the day and I figured out I will be able to see every show, the parade and fireworks!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOO. They open the gates and we were let in. I was blown away with what I saw when I came out from under the railroad station. It was SNOWING on Mainstreet!!!! They were playing holiday music. The Cm's all had huge smiles and they had cookies, hot chocilate(sp?) and coffee. I just went around thinking wow. I got a couple of cookies and then had my pic taken. I then started doing all the shows. They were(and now are) great. The last show I saw was in front og the castle on that stage, then we had the fireworks. After the fireworks alot of folks left. I walked around some more then I sat down and watched the last parade. I never rode a single ride during my MVMCP's. I have many great memories of MVMCP's. I have made friends of all ages for that night watching parades. If you ever get the chance and can afford it I would strongly recommend doing MVMCP. We are looking forward to doing MVMCP on Dec 8 with alot of DISers. I would love to hear anyone elses thoughts on MVMCP.
