What movie can you watch over and over again?

My Man Godfrey
Secondhand Lions
You Can't Take It With You
Mamma Mia
Lilo & Stitch
Duck Soup
His Girl Friday

and that's just off the top of my head...What can I say, I love movies

I Love Secondhand Lions ! Didn't know anyone but my family knew that one.

For me it's Hocus Pocus!

Grease
A New Hope
Steel Magnolias
the Thin Man movies
Halloween
Arsenic and Old Lace

Clueless
10 Things I Hate about You
5th Element
Princess Bride
Serenity

The Shawshank Redemption
A League of Their Own
A Christmas Carol (Scrooge)
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

Any Christmas movie really. It's tradition to watch them ALL (even the bad ones) every year.

I use certain movies to de-stress, work through insomnia & sometimes when a migraine is so bad I can't lay down, sit or even stand comfortably. My poor family has seen My Big Fat Greek Wedding on the screen so many times we routinely quote the lines back and forth for absolutely no reason. "Put some Windex on it." "I know, it's a cake." "That's okay, I make lamb."

Whoa!! So many that I rewatch

Rear Window (the original with Jimmy Stewart)
all the Die Hard movies
Shrek
US Marshals
The Fugitive
Man of the House (love Tommy Lee Jones)
The Shawshank Redemption
Facing the Giants
Fireproof

Funny! My dh and I used to watch 40 year old virgin several times a month! Then my son got older and we just haven't found the time to watch it when he's not around.

But I would say I could watch Walk the Line all the time!

Forest Gump
Dirty Dancing
The Sound of Music
It's a Wonderful Life
Ghost
Moonstruck
Christmas Vacation (Chevy Chase)
Miracle on 34th Street

I forgot to put Mystery Men on my list, definitely one of my favorites.

American President
50 First Dates
Dirty Dancing
The Mummy
Pretty Woman
Shawshank Redemption
Zombieland
Christmas Vacation

For me it's:

Airplane!
Young Frankenstein
The Wizard of Oz
Annie Hall

I'm not a big movie person, but my #1 movie I could watch over and over is National Lampoon's vacation followed by National Lampoon's Christmas vacation. And I tend to watch Wedding Crashers whenever it comes on TV.

Footloose
Star Wars (any of them)
Clueless
Titanic
Con-Air
The Shawshank Redemption
Serenity
With Honors
Love Actually

There are quite a few & I don't want to miss any but I will say I drool everytime Top Gun is on & it makes me think of my teeny bopper years drooling over those guys...

Sweet Home Alabama.

I've seen it over 100 times and I can quote every word to it.

As far as Disney Movies, it's Beauty and the Beast. :happytv:

Love Actually (really any Hugh Grant movie; he's so goofy he's adorable)
Chariots of Fire

Queen Colleen

Any bratpack movie- Pretty In Pink, St Elmo's Fire, Breakfast Club, etc.
Say Anything
Grease
American Flyers
Master & Commander
Con Air
Armageddon
Memoirs of a Geisha
You've Got Mail
Sleepless In Seattle
While You Were Sleeping
Sabrina
Roman Holiday
White Christmas
Holiday Inn
Beauty & The Beast
The Little Mermaid
Aladdin
The Sword in the Stone
Any Peanuts movie
Elf
Okay..there are many more..but that's the short list. I love movies!

There are so many great movies listed so far, and I agree with so many. I am nodding my head with each post, lol. For me, my absolute will watch any time it is on, even if the DVD is in the cabinet is:

Last of the Mohicans
Gone with the Wind
Meet me in St. Louis
Laura (so many people don't know this movie, but it is top favorite for me)
The original Vacation and the Christmas vacation. Classic laugh riot.
Shawshank Redemption
Forrest Gump
Easy A (I don't know why, I just really enjoy that movie...maybe it is all the John Hughes references), which brings me to,
Almost any John Hughes movie ;)
Sleepless in Seattle
When Harry met Sally
Up
Eight Below
Meet the Robinsons
The Joy Luck Club
Harry Potter (any of them)
Dirty Dancing
Top Gun
Steel Magnolias
Fried Green Tomatoes
Band of Brothers
Full Metal Jacket
Tombstone
O Brother Where Art Thou?

I could probably go on...I love movies. :goodvibes

Steel Magnolias
Empire Records
That Thing You Do!
National Treasure

I didn't know there were other Empire Records lovers out there! I got the movie years ago from my brother's girlfriend at the time, knew nothing about it, watched it and fell in love. It is definitely on my list.
Others on my list include Lion King (sometimes when ABC Family plays it twice in a row I watch it both times), Grease, Dirty Dancing, and 10 Things I Hate About You. I think I may have to watch one tonight now.
ETA: Can't believe I forgot 16 Candles! "Dong, where is grandpa's automobile?"
