What movie can you watch over and over again?

Beaches.....and pretty much anything else with Bette Midler

The Perfect Storm ...I'm a New England girl who lived through the storm;besides Clooney stole my heart in this one.

Sleepless In Seattle

It's A Wonderful Life

Little Miss Sunshine

One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest

Mr.Hobb's Takes A Vacation

Cheaper By The Dozen ....the original.

Guess Who's Coming To Dinner...the original. Tracy and Hepburn's chemistry in their last film together was pure magic.

Mary Poppins...my dad took me to this one when I was about 7. Fond memories.

Others than Streets of Fire:

Ocean's Eleven and Thirteen
Star Wars and Return of the Jedi
Raiders of the Lost Ark and Last Crusade
Curse of the Black Pearl and At World's End

I've got a theme going...not a fan of those 2nd installments that just end knowing there will be a third movie.

A Chorus Line (I know, I know....)
Princess Bride
The Big Easy
Bull Durham
While You Were Sleeping
The Blind Side

Wow...it's no wonder I never see any new movies, I'm too busy watching the same ones over and over again!

It never changes with me. THE COLOR PURPLE. :goodvibes

It's so difficult to narrow it down, but:

Notting Hill
Enemy of the State
A Walk to Remember
The Little Mermaid
The Princes Bride

I'd think that Groundhog Day would be on at least somebody's list, too. ;)

That would be me. Along with-

Cat on a Hot Tin Roof
Ghostbusters (both! I have terrible taste, don't care)
Zombieland
Wedding Singer
Tango and Cash (I don't know why! It's truly, truly awful. Just awful)
Turner and Hooch
Possibly any musical ever. (I seriously rock in my own mind)

Just off the top of my head:

The Notebook
For Love of the Game
Home Alone
Sweet Home Alabama
Independence Day
Pretty Woman
Toy Story (all of them)
Finding Nemo

So many already mentioned -

Pretty in Pink
Breakfast Club
Notting Hill
Pretty Woman
The Proposal
Sweet Home Alabama
Ferris Bueller

PP mentioned the Goonies. I bought that for my kids & they loved it too! Some of the "oldies" have not caught their attention but they really enjoyed this & watched it several times.

I'm sure there are more. I think we watch more old rerun movies than new ones out there. DH would say Shawshank Redemption - he watches that every single time he finds it. He also loves the mushy Meg Ryan movies - You've Got Mail type stuff. I can't like those!

While I love many movies and will watch them several times, the two movies that will make me drop everything and sit down to watch them if they're on tv are The Godfather I and II. :confused3

It's weird, they're not my usual type of movie but I LOVE them.

My Man Godfrey
Secondhand Lions
You Can't Take It With You
Mamma Mia
Lilo & Stitch
Duck Soup
His Girl Friday

and that's just off the top of my head...What can I say, I love movies

Lots of good ones!

In addition to The 40-Year-Old Virgin, I'll drop everything to watch Dirty Dancing. popcorn::

Fantasia & Fantasia 2000
The Star Wars Saga
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy
While You Were Sleeping
The Devil Wears Prada
What's Up Doc
Foul Play

National Lampoon Vacation is my number 1 all-time favorite feel good anytime movie that I have watched more times than I can count. Christmas, European, & Vegas Vacations are also movies I have watched over and over again.

The BIG question should be.... which movie would you watch if Godfather I and II were on at the same time??????

If Matilda is on and DW is watching another favorite movie or program, the channel gets changed.

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, my word that movie makes me laugh!

:thumbsup2 These are my favorites too. I regularly check my cable guide so I'll know when any of these are on. Even tho I have them all on DVD, I love catching them whenever they're on too! I especially love it when I get to watch one of these in the day or 2 before we go to WDW. The night beforeour May vacation, I got to fall asleep to Vacation! It was the best way to start vacation ever!! :goodvibes

Hope you're both watching Comedy Central....Christmas Vacation is on right now!  "In 7 years he couldn't find a job?" "Katherine says he's holding out for a management position." :rotfl2:

Besides any Vacation Movie, my list would include :

Return To Me
The Family Man
Funny Farm
A Christmas Story
