What mischief does your Elf on a shelf get into?

I need new ideas I seem a little dry this year! LOL but my daughter is still having fun - only 16 more things to come up with... LOL...

1-Left 90 Pictures of himself all about the house (DD loved finding these)
2-Made her Special Elf Cinnamon Rolls one morning for breakfast
3-Found watching TV and eating Elf Cookies when she got home from school (she loved this one)
4-Found playing Pop-It with a ton of her stuffed Animals
5-Got her 5 pair of new christmas socks and put them all over the Christmas tree
6-Painted pictures on the kitchen floor with paints on paper

So there you go - hope they can help someone - Need to come up with some more :)

I am ordering ours through Elf-Magic.com. The Elf on a Shelf ones are SCARY! Like something that would turn its head and tell you he was going to kill you scary! :scared1:

I am Laughing Out Loud at my desk at work reading this! People next to me must think I'm nuts!

My little one is only a few months but I can't wait to start this tradition with him when he is older

and I came downstairs to find Elfis sitting on the stove (everything was off), holding a frying pan. In the frying pan was Mr. Potato Head.

The note next to Elfis said, "Now, THIS is what I call a fritata!" :rotfl2:

Elfika has

1) taken a plastic Little People School house and turned it into a bed with an empty ribbon container with a flower bow paced on top as a pillow and used a washcloth as a blanket

2) Ended up upside down in one of my 10 year olds boots. We were joking about his stinky feet and elfika must have heard and gotten stuck trying to see if they really smelled!

3) Played PS3 while we slept with a few stuffed friends

4) rode on the big wheels

5) Hid by the tree the night the electricity went off

6) has worn the glasses that turn Christmas lights into an image of ___(Santa, reindeer, snow) we have all 3 and I don't remember what she wore.

7) she is sitting up in my kitchen eating a gingerbread cookie that we made this weekend!

Our Elf left new slipper socks hanging from the dining room light. But, I had a conversation with a friend of mine who can't understand why we would want a naughty elf! She said if she ever did it, she'd have Henry the Helpful Elf who taught by example (Look - Henry picked up all your dirty clothes last night). I couldn't stop laughing at her idea as our Elf does give me more work!

This weekend, our elf:

1) messed with DS14's bagpipes
2) dyed the milk green, and
3) knocked over the Christmas tree! Actually, the tree fell on its own--I would have loved to have left the mess there for the kids to find, but there was broken glass all over. We cleaned up, then left Snowflake in the big pile of (unbroken, but fallen) ornaments. I think it's time for me to write another strongly worded letter to Santa...

Ours too!! Tinsel Rose just sits and observes to make sure that the kids will get on the nice list. But I never thought to have her do all these things. I think I will have to get a boy elf next year and have him do all those things. That is too cute and I know the kids will love it.

We don't do something every night, but our elf moves around the house, so far the kids found him in the diaper bag, hanging off the lights sitting on top of the large picture window (on the top valence watching the snow outside!) eating a cupcake one night, then the next night they found him in the fridge with a tub of icing and the spoon! Last night he did dump some flour on the table and made snow angles, the boys had a blast finding him that way!

Elfie put pictures of himself up all over the house and even one in the car. My DS 6 yo hasn't stopped talking about it all afternoon. :goodvibes

Last night, we put the train around the Christmas tree. One car is open with nothing in it. This morning, our elf was lounging in that car, accompanied by a new brunette Barbie in a skimpy bikini! :lmao: He had his arm around her, all comfy cozy. It appears he has moved on from Easter Barbie, his flame of last year........ Our Elf is quite the Romeo.

Ours have been "sleeping" the last 2 days since I have been too tired at night & forgot. They are little - they were ornaments I got at Target & added a nose/mouth and took off the string.

They have had snacks, played Scrabble w/Christmas words, decorated the tree w/underwear - the fav so far - hidden in my nativity scene, ate parts of their gingerbread houses w/crumbs & dust on their hands & feet & mouths, and looked at each other through the chimney decoration on the mantle.

Oh, and the girl took DD's glasses off her nightstand, wore them, & left DD's sunglasses on the table instead. DD said she grabbed them to wear until she realized they were not her glasses!

I think they will make snow angels tonight & I'm waiting for a good day for them to make miis on the wii.

Our elves just did the flour snow angels or I they would have done this one. It is great!!

We don't have Elf on a Shelf we have Snoopy and Woodstock in elf attire since my house is decorated in Peanuts this year. The kids named them Flying Ace (Snoopys nickname and since he is flying from curtain top to other high places) and Twinkles (like lights for Woodstocks hair?- lol).

So far besides moving around they have toilet papered the tree and thrown marshmallows through the kitchen. They scream me awake every morning.
