What means DH?

in some posts I read the description "DH". What means this?
"D? Husband" for example? Please inform me about this

Somehow the "D" in DS, DH, etc always reads as "designated" in my head!!

I remember several years back when I had my first computer and was in a chat room for the first time. Someone typed DH and I wasn't sure what it was. But I had the idea that it was about her husband. So I asked...What's DH? Dead husband? ROFL! That popped in my head since I'm a widow. I guess in some cases it could be!

I always thought D as in 'Disney'

then I read somewhere that D, for some, was for 'Darling' (like in Lady and the Tramp or Peter Pan)!

'Darling' has been my favorite D ever since.

I was just joking with my DH the other day that some days I want to refer to him as my NSDH (not so dear) but most of the time DH works for me.

If used by Zurgswife, it means Dumb.

If I use DW it means Darling Wife.
