Hi ladies

I havn't booked a hair and make up appointment with anyone yet but I've narowed it down to Beate Speciale or Onsite Beauty.

Can anyone tell me what make up Beaute use please? The reason i ask is that I always get problem skin in the sunshine (elephant woman comes out to visit :headache:) and I think maybe mineral make up will be best to combat it, or possibly airbrushed.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi there...

I recently used them and I noticed most if not all their products are MAC, which are awesome products. They also do airbrushing. I didn't get airbrushed but I did see the machine.

They were awesome, I would email Ana and talk to her about your skin concerns, I had 3 girls the day of my wedding and they all were great.

I also wanted to chime in to say how great Beaute Speciale is. I originally thought I wanted airbrush because I have a couple of sun-damaged spots on my face. When the stylist got there she looked at my skin and said regular make-up would work well for me but that she also had the airbrush with her. I went with her recommendation and was really happy with the outcome (and it saved me some money too!).

Like the previous poster said most of their stuff is MAC, but they are fantastic. I have very sensitive skin that reacts to everything and they were able to use something that worked for me. I e-mailed Ana ahead of time with my concerns and she put my mind at ease, you should try the same, I am sure it would help.

:goodvibesThank you for your responses. I have been worried about the make up side of things as last year in Florida my face reacted badly in the sun and the lumps and bumps didn't go down for about a week. As we are getting married on day 5 of our trip I think it might take a bit of work to cover them up:headache:

I will definitely be going with Ana now.

I can recommend the airbrushing - I hate the feel of makeup on my skin and not only did it feel like nothing was there, it lasted the entire day.

My only "caution" is to call them the day before to confirm everything. They forgot the airbrush machine for our MK/EPCOT photoshoot (they sent a refund immediately but it was a little annoyance)

Most of their makeup is MAC but they do use some other products they believe work better in certain cases. I definitely recommend a trial, though, esp. if you have sensitive skin. Why not try out the airbrushing vs. liquid ahead of time so you can tell. Also, I don't recommend mineral makeup for photo shoots- the titanium dioxide that acts as an SPF also blocks out the flash and will make areas with makeup like the face appear much lighter than areas that are "naked" like the neck/chest.

I have sensitive skin and makeup does not stay on me for very long. And yesterday morning I had my engagement shoot so I had them come out for my hair and makeup trial. Amanda was WONDERFUL!!! I told her my makeup concerns and not only did my makeup look great, it lasted all day (I got it done at 6:30am), even through a nap! And my hair is still curly this morning! I would HIGHLY reccommend them, and I will definitely be having them do me and my bridesmaids hair and makeup for the wedding.

Thanks for the tip. I'll make a note to call them:goodvibes

Thanks Lulu. I use mineral make up daily and I didn't know that about photos. I don't think I have time for a trial with them so I'll have to trust their judgement. I'll probably go with the airbrushing though as I don't like the feel of too much foundation.

That's great to hear Belle, thank you for posting. I have just emailed them to go ahead and book from reading all these possitive comments. Did you have airbrushing or normal make up? I think I might just stay inside until the day of the wedding so i don't get any reaction!

I had just normal makeup. I don't really know what the airbrushing looks like.
