what magazines do you subscribe to?

:goodvibes Midwestliving. Southernliving, Readers Digest and Budget Travel. Now I know where my money goes. :teeth:

We get:

Budget Travel
TV Guide
Memory Makers
Black Enterprise
Time
Parenting

Way more than I have time to read. They were either free subscriptions or I used credit card reward points to get them.

We've gotten Reader's Digests since the day hubby and I married in '89 and still get it today, though we rarely read it anymore.

We've gotten other magazines at times, but have always let the subscription expire. I'd buy if kids sold them for fund raisers, but no one has come by lately, so right now, we're not getting any others.

I would like to get National Geographic and Consumer Reports. One day I'll get around to it.

I get a couple of home theater/audiophile magazines. I used to get some Disney related subscriptions, but the Dis is so much better.:earsboy:

I recommend Family Fun to parents. There are a lot of fun holiday and craft projects in that magazine.

kids get disney, nick, national geographic for kids
we get reminisce, reminisce extra, national enquirer (admit it-YOU read it in the grocery line :teeth:),some scuba one that comes with a padi membership.

SNIP

:lmao:

Okay, but only the cover!

I have way more subscriptions than I have time to read! The majority of them were free so I don't feel too bad about recycling without reading.

Vogue
W
Allure
Glamour
Marie Claire
Jane

SELF
Shape

Rolling Stone
Spin
Blender
Interview

Western Design and Interiors
Budget Travel

I think the only ones I paid for were Allure, Vogue, Rolling Stone, and Budget Travel. The rest were free.

I buy magazine subscriptions on eBay and many sellers throw in extra mags for free. I've never had a problem buying subscriptions off ebay and it saves a ton!

I don't subscribe to any magazines but I do buy People and Us almost every month. I bet I would save a lot of money if I did subscribe.

This is kind of off topic but have any of you seen or read that magazine called ShopSmart. I think it's a new magazine by Consumer Reports and it's an ad free magazine that tells about great buys and compares different products.
Also tells how to find hidden bargains. I think it only comes out every 3 months though.

I highly recommend it. :thumbsup2

Good heavens, no wonder I have stacks of magazines sitting around all the time!!! I do read them all, though - I'm a bathtub/bathroom reader, and I always take some in the carpool line. But I never save magazines - a habit I broke after I filled up an entire trunk with old copies of Martha Stewart. I threw them all out, and I recycle them all every week or month.

I love magazines....

I love Real Simple. It shows you how you can keep your home beautifully organized and spend a million dollars doing it!!!!

Seriously, it's a great "homemaker" magazine. I do like the articles they have - about interesting, different women. And I love the "house" ideas - decorating, how to organize your laundry room, etc. But I do remember it was criticized in the beginning because some people thought it was going to be a magazine dedicated to "the simple life", ie reducing spending, etc. And it's not that at all!!!

But it is lovely, and I enjoy it. It's one of the ones that's hardest for me to throw out...

US
People
InStyle
EW
Plus I buy some of the cheap gossip mags for pure fun
