What made you decide.....

This is a great thread!
I've always wanted a Disney wedding and my husband wanted a small wedding, so the Intimate Wedding was perfect for us. I lived in Orlando at the time we were planning and we have Passes so we would go often and look at the different sites. I wanted something outdoors and we first considered Seabreeze Point but then we saw Sunrise Terrace at the Wilderness Lodge and fell in love with it! The views of the lake and the island and just everything there is picture perfect. It's a little more private than Seabreeze Point or the Gazebo and that was a consideration for us too.
It doesn't seem like a lot of brides choose Sunrise Terrace, and it is quite small, but it was exactly what we were looking for and I'm so happy we chose it

We walked into the Atlantic Dance Hall and there was no other option. It had the flavor of something different and yet not too different. It had character and didn't need much, or any, decoration.

We used the WP because my poor dh needed something traditional. I am not very traditional and would have preferred the Epcot Isola Italy, but I'm not a morning person, so the early morning wedding wasn't going to happen

My first choice would have been the castle, but I could never afford $50,000...but what a party that would have been!!!

We picked Disney because A. I loved it. B. It was actually convenient for my family. C. It was cheaper than a wedding at home. We had an intimate wedding because I wanted my family there-his can't travel and for several other reasons.

We chose Sunset Pointe because it was a gorgeous view, it was at the Poly (which I love) DH wouldn't look totally out of place in less formal wedding attire and it fit our personality. We wanted our wedding to be fun but meaningful to us and that location just matched.

We chose O'Hanas because it is one of my families favorite eating locations on property-if we do a VR we will do something different with eating.

Then we had the Grand One for Wishes which was our way of saying thank you to our guests for being there.

The entire day was magical and memorable.

We picked Sunset Pointe at the Polynesian because we love that resort. We've never stayed there but we love the hawaiian/tropical look and feel to it. Plus the view from Sunset Pointe is beautiful, with the castle in the background. Plus surrounded by a lake, which is so us b/c we love the water.

We chose to have our dinner in Ohana's. Ive eaten there and it is my favorite restaurant. My Dfi has never eaten there so it'll be even more special, since its located in our favorite resort. Plus were staying at the poly for the rest of the week for our honeymoon.

Hopefully everything turns out well and my Dfi and I cant wait to be married in our favorite spot and resort making it even more special than before.
